I don't think it's desperate. I wear contacts when I get stys, since I don't ahve specs and I don't have any other choice. Or else I'm gonna be blind. Well.... I mull over you could, since nothing happned to me. Warning: Do not pop or touch the sty or will bring bigger, and hurt like hell!!

You shouldn't wear a contacts when you have a sty becuase it will prevent it from going away and also the germs get on the contact and you keep putting it wager on in your eye, so a moment ago wait until it heal.
