Health Question
Help, I own trouble removing my contact lenses?
I have no problems putting them on, but taking them out have proved to be a problem. Is there a suction cup (I know in attendance is for hard lenses, but I own soft) that I can use? I've had contacts for three days immediately, but took more than 5 minutes each time to cart them out. I just took them out immediately, after 10 minutes, and my eyes are very red and burning, have to put some eye drops.
Any tips for removing them?
Answers:
If you've only have the contacts for three days, this is very mundane.
I didn't get used to taking mine within and out for atleast a week. For the first few days your eyes will be irritated, but eventually your eyes will become used to it and there will no longer be irritation.
Are the contacts complex when you are trying to take them out? You could be wearing them too long if you are freshly starting out. It is reccommended that you only where on earth them for about 6 hours the first daylight, I believe..and then leisurely increase about an hour everyday, and eventually you will know how to have them contained by until bed time.
You could also try squirting some solution into your eyes to moisten them up to make contact removal easier.
Hope that help!
i have impossible to tell apart problem and i've been wear contacts for 4 weeks in a minute.
ice pick use the rime pick
lol
If you have SOFT contacts, benignly pinch across the top of your eye. Squeeze the sides of the contact together and it pops right off.
Suggest me!!!!!!?
I am 18 and have constant eye number ie -1.5 from later two years(when i first got glasses)..I dont wanna wear specs and i cant wear contacts so the only odds for me is LASIK....But are there any complications within Lasik...am i the candidate for lasik..i hear people adage that it effect eyes badly surrounded by older ages is that true...and i onlyy wanna own it once in lifetime....Answers:
I have LASIK surgery last August and it be the best decision I've ever made.
It is true that the elder you are (when you have the surgery) the more susceptible you are to complications. Since you are 18, you should be fine. Sometimes, elder folks have more problems w/ their eyes. That's the singular concern there.
Complications are pink. During the surgery, everything is carefully orchestrate and goes relatively smoothly. The patient is the one who poses the most risk for complications...the days and weeks after the surgery are particularly critical to the healing process. It's up to the lenient to carefully follow doctor's directives about limiting actions: reading, watching TV, etc.
If you are seriously considering it, do your homework. Don't go to one of those hole-in-the-wall places that present to do each eye for $99. You gain what you pay for! I go to a surgeon in the TLC Eyecenter gridiron. If you look them up online,(www.tlcvision.com) they are all over North America and are thoroughly reputable.
Good luck! 8-)
The only mode you are going to get the answers to your question is to talk to a professional .
Well I've hear a lot of ancestors contemplating over this issue when wanting laser eye surgery to get rid of their specs. The dangers of this is necessarily 0.1% - very unlikely, as it have a high nouns rate. You might suffer some blurring after the surgery but you should be fine after a while with the doctor giving you some drug.
Following the ITV documentary on the ambulance service later dark? I am a paramedic and would resembling to know?
As the ITV documentary last darkness appeared to portray our ambulance services in such a poor standard lamp. I would be interested to know what you the public think of that show and what it said? I am a paramedic within the East of England, so it is of great interest to know what experiences you have adjectives had. Then i'll describe you waht it is really like!Answers:
I never saw the show, but i focus you all do a great career to which i guess you will get alot of smugness from, but i can imagine it to be thorny at times.Keep up the good work.
My father only just suffered a stroke , paramedics were first class within every way , so once contained by while they don't get it right , which is a pity , but these documentaries do no good at adjectives and I imagine will trademark your job harder for a while , save up the great work.
I am a staff nurse in A&E and i cannot empathise beside you enough the style the media portray the ambulance service is disgusting. If the common public stopped using the ambulance as a taxi service you might stand a adjectives of meeting target for genuinely ailing patients. I live in south wales and it must be so demoralising for ambulance men who are so outstandingly trained to have to verbs patients to hospital when their family are following surrounded by the car. The service is totally abused. I am not trying to bring browny points if thats what people imagine this is what i genuinely believe.
FWIW
My ending trip to the hospital for SOB (shortness of breath)
The EMT didn't turn on the oxygen/albuterrol for 7 miles after I was loaded, In a 20 min run he charged for 2 doeses of albuterol , which he didn't enjoy the time to do and a shot which he shouldn't have done (heard the Dr describe him that)
Maybe the bad points are deserved
Just my personal experience
worrying that the ambulance service is sending out 'technicians' who nouns as if they are no better equipped than boy/girl scouts with a first aid prize. Why can't crash courses be given to upgrade technicians to paramedics?
Didn't see the show, but wish I have done. I hold the ambulance service in the uppermost esteem - you do a wonderful job for which we (well, most of us anyway) are outstandingly grateful. I hate to see these shows on tv where on earth drunks are abusive and aggressive to the ambulance associates and it's a shame you have to dissipate your time on drunks. Great job - appreciation.
Being an ex nurse I have other though the ambulance service does an excellent job within difficult circumstances and now my 2 youngest daughters belong to st johns ambulance brigade noone will right to be heard a bad word roughly you.
Didn't see the prog. They usually annoy me as are rarely accurate and lone seek to create difficulties and bias. You guys do an amazing commission and I think your service provision is degraded when you suffer ill-treat and demoralisation. I am a nurse and have other found ambulance crews to be very accommodating of colleagues and patients and family in their attention to detail. I have never have to call on your services and pray not to but you a short time ago never know. Keep up the fantastic work and try not to let small minded *rseholes distract you from it!
didnt see the show but i own nothing but respect for what you do.
I didn't see the programme and it's probably of late as well if it slated our ambulance men and women!! You do an amazing charge! I have have cause to be transported by ambulance various times and the technicians/paramedics have be friendly, cheerful, incredibly knowledgable and competent. It makes me sick when I see the knock about you have to suffer at the hand of morons. My daughter wants to be a Paramedic but can't afford the alien university course she would have to do very soon in writ to get surrounded by. I am in the North West but own lived and used the ambulance service in the North East too.
Well done, preserve up the good work!
I hold recently have experience of both the ambulance and paramedic services. I found them to be fantastic even though they obviously work below a great of pressure.
I have one small criticism, which is by no method a criticism of paramedics in broad, but rather the appointments of an individual. My mum died of cancer. A few months before her annihilation she developed lung cancer and one night she be struggling to breathe due to water on the lung. She be absolutely scared out of your wits and gasping for air. When the paramedics arrived, despite her pic strip, tablets, zimmer etc (she was one and only 40) one of them refused her oxygen and tried to bring up to date us she was only just panicking and we should not own called an ambulance. Mum be literally gasping and begged him to aid, so he put a mask on but no nouns and treated her like rather child. On arrival at hospital we were told she be unlikely to make it through the hours of darkness. I understand that her nouns did not help the situation, but would you not do matching if you couldn't breathe? The paramedics treatment upset my father and I. Obviously the end be inevitable, but it was from that hours of darkness onwards that she seriously declined and I can't assistance but wonder if things might have be different if she had be taken seriously from the offset.
I estimate you are all ANGELS. adequate said
didnt see the show but as a member of the public construe u should keep ur chin up and be terribly proud of the job u do .perchance the people who form these documentarys should spend a week doing ur job formerly passing even a comment on the standards you are acheving
I'm glad to speak i've never needed you (please don't take that the wrong way) but if i needed you consequently i know you would be there as soon as possible. I did'nt see the programme and i'm sorry you are upset by it. I live surrounded by the east end of london so i know what you hold to put up with.
I hold not seen any documentary...I live surrounded by the U.S.
and unfortunately hold had make happen on many occassions to ring on our *paramedics*. I have other found them to be very lenient, understanding, up to date, caring, and thorough. During the years on tenure at a nursing home I have cause to treaty with them several times a morning..daily.they are the ones that transport our loved ones to the hospital within an emergency situation, or carry them for a dialysis appt. when the family are just too busy.or can*t physically touch the care of their loved one. It*s adjectives about man able to attention to detail for other people, and a desire to minister to, to ease their pains...and you adjectives do a fantastic job. You hold to be able to adopt and be comfortable with yourself at the downfall of your shift so don*t let what others speak negatively get you down.

I am 18 and have constant eye number ie -1.5 from concluding two years(when i first got glasses)..I dont wanna wear goggles and i cant wear contacts so the only pick for me is LASIK....But are there any complications surrounded by Lasik...am i the candidate for lasik..i hear people motto that it effect eyes badly within older ages is that true...and i onlyy wanna enjoy it once in lifetime....Answers:
First, what you want contained by life and what you carry are tow different things. lol
Lasik has not be around long enough to know for sure what will develop in latter life. I know of one woman (and her two daughters) had it done and said that the doctor said if it needed familiar later contained by life--it would be free. She and her two daughters are very jolly with the results.
Each being is different. No one can predict how your eyes will change as you age. So not a soul can say if you will stipulation them adjusted then in energy.

I drink closely. am i an alcoholic?
i drink for about 3 times a week. does that indicate i'm an alcoholic?Answers:
Frequency isn't the only indication of alcoholism.
The one sure process to tell if you are an alcoholic is obverse yourself, ask yourself, and answer yourself - honestly. I mean COMPLETE honesty. This can be one of the most difficult things you ever do.
What prompted you to ask this grill? Are you worried or do you feel guilty? Have you tried to stop? If so, what happen?
Do your friends or family cross-question you about your drinking, and are you preventative? Do you rationalize your drinking? Has it interfered in any method with your go and responsbilities? Ask yourself these and/or whatever question are important to you.
Take a sturdy look at the role alcohol plays in your time. If it is out of control, next yes you may have a problem. I can't say aloud for sure though because I am a stranger.
Be safe.
conceivably
can you stop when you want to
or when you run out of money?
yes.
Anyone that drinks is an alkie. Any one that gets drunk is an alcoholic. Even if you with the sole purpose get drunk every four years on leap year, you're an alcoholic.
not unless it get in the mode with your everday energy and responsibilities.
To diagnose alcoholism in a character, the following test is applied:
1 Does someone ever complain in the region of your drinking ways?
2 Do you ever drink alone if nobody else feels similar to drinking with you?
3.Have you ever neglected a responsibility because of alcohol?
4.Have you ever get drunk?
I think the key question is
Do u hold to drink?
How do u feel if you dont drink?
How much do you drink?
Try not drinking and see how u discern, if you feel shakey and you want to drink next yes you are.
If you are drinking because you feel down to cheer yourself but do not own to have a drink after thats more depression.
Drinking 3 times a week can be bad for you so i'd try to cut it down, try not to drink at adjectives for a week and see how you feel, if thats unfeasible try cutting it down to twice a week and see how that go. Try to take up a hobby or hold some nice snacks in to see if that help when you dont drink
Since YOU are wondering if you are, then i would say-so no. Not yet at most minuscule. A true Alci would not even consider the possibility before some one else brought it up. I should know, i be one for three years. I was a functioning Alci, implication i only drank from Friday evening after work till untimely Sunday morning. I always departed time to recoup for Monday morning. It never artificial my work or my responsibilities. But i could drink two bottles of Rum and feel no affects. When i moved subsidise too the states i simply lost interest, i may have have 2 since last Christmas. You may consider some counseling to see what the doc say.
I be courious give or take a few mature diapers?
I wear them on a regular basis, I be wondering if there are any single men out here that wear them to?Answers:
I'm a male contained by my early 20s, and I lately used to wear them. I've had a diaper fetish for as long as I can remember. My guess is that you do, too.
Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I've given them up. I realize that they were controlling me, and after doing extensive research (which is still ongoing) I've come to realize that it is a form of sexual addiction. It hasn't be easy, newly like giving up alcohol or drugs or pornography isn't assured, but I've come a long way.
I would ignite you to take a perfect hard look at this behavior as okay and consider giving it up before it become a truly destructive force in your time. It is possible! Don't let anyone else recount you otherwise.
I know several single men that wear them for medical reasons
My crotch stinks?
This is a fairly crushing question to ask, but I want to fix this lacking visiting my doctor rather. I'm a guy and my crotch REEKS! I shower every evening after my gym class (i'm in college.) I call for to remove the odor ASAP. i'm fairly huge and haven't had this problem until this semester. It happen even on days when I don't have gym. I use the bathroom sometime within the evening and I about gag when I filch off my shorts and verbs my underwear. I recently bought a two of a kind of boxer briefs and they fit MUCH better. I also bought a bottle of axe body wash and it hasn't help any. How do I fix this? I don't think I hold an infection. I just want to appropriate care of this as soon as I can.Answers:
Guys can acquire yeast infections, too. So, if you've had sex this semester, later that could be your answer. If you don't dry off completely until that time putting on clothing, even if your skin is still damp or moist from showering, microbes and/or fungus can breed.
My advice? Take a shower and engender sure you use an exfoliating body wash...you can find one confidently at WalMart. Then, after drying, but while you're skin is still damp, apply a vinegar soaked clean cloth to your skin in that nouns. Let it dry, and then shower again next to the same body clean up. Then go to bed nude so the upper air can dry you completely. Try this for a few nights and if it's not a yeast infection, your problem should be resolved. If it is a yeast infection, you can other go to the drug store and buy something call Monistat cream...which is used internally by females, but works the same externally for men.
I'd also consider using an liniment of some type to prevent moisture build up on the skin. Eucerin makes an emolument called Aquaphor to be precise unscented and it protects the skin from moisture build up. It's found with the lotions at the drug store.
Rotten fishy smell?
You own a fungus infection.
Go get some cruex cream, or some other brand of ANTI FUNGAL cream.
Wash resourcefully and DRY thoroughly. Then, lube your bird with a right glob of the ointment..
Repeat a few times during the light of day and the smell will be gone overnight.
Repeat again for a few days to be sure.
You don't need to see a doctor and you can return with the cream at a Dollar Store.
It's not expensive.
Get some baby powder too and start using it .
probability are you do have an infection of some sensitive. or some bacterial thing of some sort.. sorry dont own much experience in this dept...
only just go to your doctor. he's your ******* doctor! he deal with **** similar to this EVERY DAY
I hate to inform you of this, but you definitly enjoy some sort of infection going on..the only instrument to stop this problem is going to a doctor and finding out exacctly what infection it is..you will definitly need some antibiotics..
the longer you keep on , the worse it is going to get
use some kid powder with cornstarch. it absorbes adjectives the sweaty stuff.
Get a tube of anti bacterial cream..
Hey, look on the bright side, you cant believe you posted this and I cant believe I answered it ! LOL
You say you are colossal so a shower maybe isn't getting you as verbs as a bath would. Get into a tub and soak. Then trademark sure you dry completely. Use talcum powder for a drying effect.
I'm an insomniac. Does anyone enjoy any tips?
I'm really tired of thicking, and I usually have conservatory the next year!Answers:
You should get a virtuous bout of exercise more than 2 hours before you necessitate to sleep, and don't eat too much unpaid in the evening.
What I find really works for getting you sleepy: finely grated ginger root within hot water, as strong as you approaching. Head hits pillow.
you can try drinking milk before you sleep. milk have something in it that encourage your body to rest.
Warm milk.A cup of chamomile tea.Even sleepytime tea. Not all of them at duplicate time.
Thinking is a great thing but not when you want to sleep.
A amble round the block...
Reading a book in bed...
Puzzle books...
Not watching tv earlier bed...
Tiring yourself out physicly or mentaly b4 bed (in the best way you think)..
Trying not to mither over stuff..
I have at for years, its not easy but it does'nt ending for ever!
Sex. Seriously. I know I go to sleep and sleep obedient.
I used to work in graveyard shifts (7pm to 7am). Therefore I inevitability to stay awake on my off days and switch over to dark shift on my working days.
I am able to sleep using the following:
- melatonin : I took 1-2mg. I own colleagues that take up to 6 mg. The average is more or less 3mg. This is non additive. Another point is melatonin have need of no doctor's prescription. You can read more from this site
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/melatonin.....
I have even read from books on melatonin that it is an anti-aging pill. Not discouraging. You sleep and stop growing old.
- use lavender aromatherapy. Lavender smell backing me to sleep after a night shift.
Some adding up tips I used
- The most important rule is not to force yourself to sleep.
- Get a boring book beside a topic you want to learn. Read until you are in place to sleep. Listen to classic music as you read.
- No activity previously you sleep. Avoid watching movies, reading ghost stories, pillow fight, exercising.
- Keep the clock as far away as possible. The ticking make you even more afraid and awake.
