i am under ALOT of stress and anger, and ive be cutting myself beside a razor and im approaching addicted to it, and i need to stop, any accepted wisdom?

Aww newborn I know what you're going thru. I went through profusely of stress and anger too. I found that being surrounded by a band and making music really help me...but you might need professional relief from a councellor.
Cutting is usuallly a way to flood a void, or sometimes culture cut themselves as a reminder that they're still alive when they're depressed. I would definitely suggest finding a councellor to speak...they're amazing, they're on your side always and they purely want to help you...and it's nice because if you're going to friends or your parents you surface judged, but when you walk to a councellor they dont judge you.

You nouns emo/punk/skaterish ... I find when I get really angry if I blast my music it make me feel better, or play my guitar. :) But that's freshly me.

Sleeping problems?

I'm in college and own troubles falling asleep. I've got an 8 am class everyday. I can't sleep lacking tylenol pm (equate brand, but just as well brought-up.) when i take it i'm droggy within the morning. i literally laid down at 11 pm and won't fall asleep until 1:30-2:30 am minus the medicine. How do i fix this. the nurses at the form center suggested i do a sleep schedule and give me a pamphlet. it didn't work. what can i do? i dont want to take the tylenol cuz it's impossible on the liver.

i am in one and the same boat i will lay down for hours and can't sleep..i talked to my dr. and they told me to budge to wal-mart and get melatonin..it is an over the counter sleep aid...it is smaller amount than $4 and it is suppose to be non addictive...just steal it about 2-3 hours back bedtime and it seems to work pretty well brought-up...i try to get surrounded by bed early bc i enjoy a 2 year old so i as a rule take it nearly 7:45 pm after dinner and i am normally asleep by 10...try this and well-mannered luck!

I enjoy a problem somewhat like yours I don't sleep much any. I take the tylenol pm around 6 pm and drip asleep around 11 pm. I am sorry I can't help you fix your problem but taking it sooner in the evening help me to sleep through the night and stir up early idea pretty good.
Tell the nurses why it didn't work and see what they influence. Ask for an alternative to Tylenol. See if your room has obedient enough nouns. Too much dust? Do you replace the sheets and things?

When I quit for devout 15 years ago I finally realized that I could not own just ONE. NOT EVEN ONE DRAG. I've be smoke free for 15 years (Not even one drag!).

I bought peppermint candies by the 5lb sack. Every morning I filled my pockets next to candy. Whenever I needed a smoke, I had a peppermint instead. It worked and permit me tell you ... quiting peppermints is a hell of like mad easier than quitting smoking. At first, i celebrated every smoke free day...later every smoke free week...smoke free month...Now I remember every Jan 9th... because my last drag be 8:30am Jan9th 1992.

Buy yourself rewards as you save the money. and remember.... You singular have to stay away from ONE.

I started smoking at age 13 and after quitting and relapsing many times, finally quit for righteous late final year at age 30. The impetus be my mom being treated for colon cancer. Is it unhygienic to wear non-prescription sunglasses over prescription contact lenses?

My morning commute is 45 minutes heading directly into the sun. Since I have massively sensitive eyes, I was hoping to acquire some sunglasses. Thing is, I love the freedom my contact lenses provide me and after heading into my workplace, I do not wish to put contained by my contact lenses and once again remove them and put on my prescription sunglasses when I need to principal out.

How do you motivate yourself to bring back out of bed within the morning?

I am a student and I really enjoy uni, but I find it stupidly knotty to get out of bed surrounded by the mornings, even after a hard days sleep and wind up up wasting SOOOO much, time, missing lectures and generally human being unproductive. Just wondering, what stratergies, mind tricks, tips you all enjoy?

I use my cell phone as a backup alarm clock. It's set to play a really really irritating tune, and is located across the room. When my 6 year old hear it go sour, he usually comes bouncing in and asks what is for breakfast. You can't sleep through the demands of a adjectives 6 year old boy. I'm not by outlook a morning person, so I hold a coffee pot with a timer- my first cup is waiting for my to stumble into the kitchen. The mug is right near, with sugar and non-dairy creamer already contained by the bottom. (Set up the night earlier, of course). Clothing is also set out the night beforehand, so I don't have to assume, and I can get dressed on autopilot. When I used to run to work, everything necessary- coat, purse, briefcase, keys- all sit by the door. I trained myself to work pretty much on autopilot in the mornings. I have three alarm clocks, set from gentle buzz to the behind the times double bell ring you out of bed kind, to attain me out of bed. I also purposely didn't have a rug by the bed, so the foot would hit the cold floor. I am still not much better. I still shower the night since, because I would probably drownd in a shower first article in the morning. But once I'm up moving, beside the smell of coffee to lead me to the kitchen, I usually do okay. I won't be fully powered up for another hour or so, but at smallest I am moving with most of the house lights on.
what i usually do to motivate myself is reflect on of the day of ahead of me. and i usually place my alarm clock faR AWAY FROM MY BED.
