Why isn't parental pressure more effective than peer pressure?I hold a friend who just turned 18. He is on heroin; a thoroughly addictive and lethal drug, by far the most unsafe in my belief. He started experiementing with drugs at the age of 14, starting beside marijuana on to different sorts of drugs like mushrooms, sour,meth, cocaine and so on up to heroin. He got addicted to heroin at 16. He is 6'2" and weigh at 90lbs.. on his near extermination scale. He started individual home schooled because he couldn't shift to school anymore. He recieved some treatment and put some cargo on, now weigh at 134 lbs. Anyway, the point of my story is that it is incredibly sad t see so several young face disappear before getting a taster of an independent life. My friend, for example, is on his method to a young demise. He still uses heroin. No one can stop him. He is addicted and craves it.
What can we do to stop this madness? Why are so plentiful teens choosing this route in vivacity? Where are the parents?

Adolescent period is the time where on earth curiosity stage is takes place. This will be the time to try adjectives new things and do experiment... The affability and closeness of the family contributor will be the way for them to be more expressive, so that they can smoothly handle problems which usually resulted to find that to others if its not met.
The environment is not easy to control, but i still believed that, when a family enjoy strong foundation and parents have really the love and supervision for their children, there is no delinquent teenaged. What had happen to your friend should be a mirror to young ones for them to hold straight life and not to try anything that will soon affect their existence.Good;uck.

In my parents case, they be drinking, so today's teen's may have parents who are present, but how masses of their parents are drinking, misusing prescription drugs, smoking pot, misusing diet pills as speed?

I'm not one of the fanatics that doesn't tolerate their children watch R rate movies....they see more in arts school everyday....but I talk to them everyday almost their life, friends, desires, needs, goal, etc..they often bring up to date me when they've done something wrong before I even find out...when we disagree and we do, frequently and loudly...we put your foot away until everyone is calm and sit down and confer about it and work it out academically often beside some compromising...and most importantly I SPANKED MY CHILDREN....the youngest is 12 now and they are too prehistoric for spankings....now i steal away things that they really want , or activities they want to attend...doesn`t matter what works and you will know when it works.....................if every parent were as involved beside their children as i am there would be deeply less of it....no parent is reliable, but you do actually own to get to know your child and everything nearly them , give them moral guidance and train them to be responsible for their actions...no event the cost ........you don't have to measure it out of them .......they want this type of relationship with you...they want to trust you and know how to talk to you more or less anything it's really not as hard as it sounds......
