Health Question
Does anybody out here work within a hospital?
If so, I have a cross-question. are the lab technicians at a hospital usually responsible for drawing blood?Because I got agreed into a Lab Tech program that was really thorny to get into but immediately I'm freaked out because I don't want to end up drawing people's blood for the rest of my time.
Answers:
Lots of hospitals use phlebotomists to draw most of the blood samples. They're cheaper. And if you're nice, the nurses may draw the taste for you if/when theyr'e starting IV's. But you can plan on having to draw blood on moment in time in almost any charge. On the other hand, it isn't your blood, so it's not so unpromising.
Phlebotomists will draw blood from patients. If you are lab tech, you will be running tests on specimens (blood, urine, etc), doing paperwork, satisfying out forms, processing the specimens, etc. You will not have closely of patient contact, and you will not be expected to draw blood or collect specimens.
Do ask your Doctor to hose their hands/put on gloves if they didn't?
If you do, how do you phrase it?Answers:

I other make sure they enjoy clean hand. You dont really know who or what their last long-suffering had.I other watch to see if they do save i ask them kindly if they would swab their hands or wear gloves for my protection.
I'd influence...pardon me, to put me at reduce, could you please wash your hand and put on gloves. If they refused, I'd confer on.
I haven't had to notify any Doctor, yet. They put their gloves on.
I noticeably have asked. I be direct. If the doctor gets piqued.find another one. Your health = your responsibility. There is a cause there are sinks within the exam rooms.
they are legally required to rinse their hands until that time they touch you in any course
simply put, " I don't mean to be rude, but I notice you did not wash your hand." Don't risk your health for the sake of politeness!
My doctor does. He have his sink in the entry with adjectives rooms opening onto the sink. He automatically wash his hands every time he comes out of a room, even his department where he writes his script and all the room doors are unseal except when he is examining someone, so we can see if he doesn't.
they always should. perchance they were merely taking your temprature or something that they dont really need to touch fundamentally much.
You really should, I know I do as you never know what their las patient have and it could be passed onto you quite effortlessly, Also all doctors should bathe their hands, if they dont you may want to report them.
But even so I usually a moment ago say "Sorry but do you mind if you could wipe up your hands, merely God knows where on earth they have been" and distribute a little smile to show that you are playin w/ them
But if that isnt your article just say aloud "Please could you wash your hand? Thanx"
Say, "It's probably an oversight on your part, DOCTOR, but your hand are dirty. Can you put them in the autoclave or something." (An autoclave is a pressurized device designed to steam aqueous solutions above their boiling point to achieve sterilization. It be invented by Charles Chamberland in 1879. Doctors used to use them to sterilze their instruments.)

Is near any way to carry rid of these hideous scars by using over the counter stuff or even home remedies I can try? I don't tend to drink plentifully of water, does that backing??Answers:
Start by drinking plenty of water and grasp atleast 8 hours of sleep a night. Stress can be your worst opponent as far as your complexion is concerned. Try relaxing at night near some herbal tea with chamomile. Also if you stipulation to cover up, try some foundation that matches your skin color. Also see your doctor as to some stress relieving remedies you could try. Exercise is also great at relieving stress and depression. Nothing strenuous, conceivably some stretching and mild aerobics. Which is more insanitary: tobacco or marijuana?
Answers:
Tobacco by far.It has no medical use though it is a mild stimulant. Tobacco is also notably addictive. Marijuana on the other hand have been found to be adjectives medicinally for cancer patients, people who suffer glaucoma and is not physically addictive. The lone reason Marijuana is wicked in the U.S. is outdated law imposed by short sighted officials.I discern personally that if ERB where on earth legalized, regulated just approaching alcohol and treated in the Judaical system close to alcohol the illegal drug use contained by this nation would fall rotten by a large percentage. I'm not condoling criminal use I'm saying let get near the times and move on surrounded by this country.
One has a mild form of tart and the other has poisonous chemicals purposely put in it. I'm going near 50/50.
Both.
there anre't enought stidies on pot to craft reach definitive conclusion
Tobacco. Marijuana is not allied to nearly as many death,(or any that I am aware of.) and its not linked to any disease.
As an avid smoker, i'm going next to tobacco!
Nowt wrong with a reciprocal now and again tho!
They're both filthy. That's resembling asking if it's worse to breathe cyanide or chlorine.
Marijuana is if you use them equally as in 1 unified per cigarette but people smoke more cigarettes so tobacco
By a moment ago numbers, tobacco is certainly more harmful--more ancestors die or have horrible lives due to its use than almost any controllable robustness condition. The costs (medical, occupational, trial, social) due to tobacco use amounts to the hundreds of billions per year.
On the other hand, marijuana, while adjectives, is used much less habitually simply due to having restricted access. Yet there is no sound out smoking marijuana poses at least like and probably greater health and societal risks than smoking cigarettes. Lung cancer is not due to nicotine, but to the complex hydrocarbons from directly inhaled soot, which is adjectives to both smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Likewise, the impairment from marijuana is at least as significant as alcohol, and it is hazy how many inhabitants die from vehicular accidents related to one under the influence of marijuana, since it is not routinely tested for.
In short, the answer to the give somebody the third degree is, who cares? Both are deadly enough to warrant avoiding completely.

Bunions - the bones on the sides of my big toes are sore and starting to stick out why and how r they cured?
Answers:
Commonly caused by prolonged wearing of extremely high heels! Unfortunately, singular surgery can remove them.
They can only be cured by an operation.
you can obtain them chiseled down under anaesthetic, but its supposed to be intensely painful
There is no cure. You would own to get surgery to fix them and I've hear it's very stinging and you'll literally be off of your foot for about 2 months.
Yep, surgery! Trust me!! It's aching and only going to bring back worse!! Get the surgery while you are at a young age b/c it's harder to restore your health when you are older!! Go to a podiatrist. I of late went later friday- no joke. Plus the longer you linger when they do finally realign your big toe the other little toes will be pushed to the side from your big toe and it will look weird.
monitor the kind of shoes you wear. Don't buy shoes that own pointed toes etc. Your toes should be natural within your shoes and not squished up. You can't cure a bunion. They are only cured by surgery
Operation, and I've hear the op is painful for weeks after.
surgery and a few weeks of recuperation.
Bunions are usually cause by tight or pointed footwear, but also appear to have an factor of heredity - look at your mum or dad or gran's foot, and you'll usually see where you get the tendancy for them from!
You can slow the progression of the deformity by wearing corrective orthotics contained by your shoes, and there are splints to wear at dark that help align your big toes properly. You can also guard against stomach-ache by keeping the 'bunion' joint mobilised - a virtuous podiatrist will show you how.
Surgery is usually performed for agony, rather than optical appearance. The surgery has a bit of a disappointing outcome sometimes - especially if you're only just looking for a chance to procure back into tight shoes! You requirement to be realistic going on for what you hope to gain from the surgery - it's often ample to just redeploy your style of footwear.
Good luck!
I had one and the same problem years ago and they did surgery with me. Maybe today nearby is a different option it be painful and I be in a sort for six weeks. I never had a problem again but have a chat to your doctor if maybe laser will work.
If the distortion is significant surgery is probably the solely option. I definitely don't see as many of these as I used to years ago. I assume we must wear better shoes?
yeah my cousin have that, ask the doctor for an operation on severe bumble foot
When using a blood pressure apparatus @ home, what # are you to inflate up to?
Answers:
If it is an automatic machine it will detect when it cuts the circulation, if it is a instruction manual and you are listening through a stethoscope you stop when you can no longer hear a pulse lick plus a bit more or go to nearly 170 slowly let it out until you hear the pulse pounding, that is the top number consequently let it out further until the pulse measure disappears and that is the bottom number. You can other inflate higher if it hasn't worked the first time.
200, after let sour pressure slowly til you hear the beat-thats the top # continue til you hear the flog and that is the bottom #. I enjoy done so many of these I don't want to do any more.
My auto inflator go up to about 185
start out @ 200, if the human being is having big b.p. ,you'll have to effortlessness up to a higher #, ...turn by 10's when above 200.
Which drug is given most habitually as injection for ankylosing spondylitis?
Answers:
My husband has AS and have just be given the go ahead to grasp the drug Etanercept, which he will have to inject himself beside a couple of times a week.
Previous to this he has have cortisone, which he refused to hold after the first couple of times. Other than that he has be on several oral painkillers.
mosquito venim
Cortisone
I have have ankylosing spondylitis for over 40 years. When I stopped doing strenuous activities and avoided getting contained by draughts when I was hot & sweaty, things later calmed down, and 'touch wood' I have not own any bad period since then. In the untimely years I was given several different drugs but never injections. The single drug that did any good for me be an anti-inflammatory called 'indomethacin'. The best dose that worked for me be 25mg pills. When I occasionally feel a twinge, I purloin one. At its peak I be taking 6 spread throughout 24 hours, but you do get a bit dependent on them and reducing the dosage down to nothing needs strong willpower. However, it might not suit everyone.
It really depends on the Patient. I am not penetrating to self-inject and they are watching my glucose level for diabetes, knowing I am not devoted to 'self-inject'. I do not mind having injections, a short time ago could not stick one in myself. I own Psoriatic Arthritis which includes Ankylosing Spondylitis and I am not good at taking oral aching killers. I do pilfer anti-inflammatory same one for the past 20 years and that help, along with Valium 2mgs at hours of darkness to relax the muscles and Lyrica to stop the neuropathic pain. Unfortunately I am a 'active' Arthritic, relish walking three miles through the fields three times a week, Pilates and Aqua Jogging, consent to alone DIY around my home and House Work, Gardening. Because I am so active my spine is not fusing and the Discs are bulging. Therefore I am very soon on these pain patch Fentanyl. They are helping me cope with the affliction and allowing me to remain active. I other think the one request for information here is 'Quality' or 'Quantity' of life. For me Quality matter because if I had to stop doing adjectives that I do, my life would not be worth living. I have to give up my hobbies: Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, things I really enjoy and fine other activities to deal with. I am not willing to administer them up, because then I will be moved out with nought to do, as the Career went. So a personal declaration was the headache patches and I am merry with them. You own to always maintain in mind their is NO prearranged cure. The Rheumatologist will usually discuss the treatments available and then the edict is yours.
Does pitch stay contained by your lungs forever after you've quit smoking?
I used to smoke but i went cold turkey coz i be afraid that i would get cancer and heart disease from it.So i be wondering with adjectives the cigarettes that i smoked and the tar moved out behind contained by my lungs. Does it stay there forever ? or does it dance away somehow ?Answers:
It goes. It take about a decade, but it go, don't worry.
they do stay surrounded by your lungs for some time but it slowly is extracted by the body. will eventually go, as long as you stay on form.
only till you die.not forever.
yes it will u shude enjoy not started 2 smoke
god bless u
your lungs heal but the hurt is already donee they r scared fo duration
I think that the tarmacadam does stay. However, i do think your body get rid of some of it through breathing and blood circulation. Try searching it on the interenet. I'm not entirely sure.
it go away...eventually. nothing direct.
It goes away eventually, after ten years of smoking cessation your body have recovered to the point that any effects have gone - its as if you've never smoked at adjectives. So 9 years and 363 days for me to go afterwards!
The cilia in your lungs will eventually remove it. It'll pilfer a while.
It will go away natrually, but it take some time. Depending on how long/much you smoke, it could take anywhere from 6 months to 10 years.
No, it will not stay nearby forever. Usually after you have quit smoking...the tarmacadam will begin to resolve after roughly speaking 7 years. It may seem resembling a long time to just BEGIN...but thats better than to preserve adding to it right?
Glad u quit smoking...I estimate it's unattractive contained by men and women.
take frequent years up to 40 even longer but they will never be the same again
Whats tart approaching?
whats it like trippin on acerbic. like what do you get the impression , see how do u actAnswers:
okay your pupils dilate, causing your sight to go passionate, things get blurry, contained by and out of focus, your muscles tense up and release, constantly, your jaws lock and release, your spine [all this because of the strychnine] tenses up and releases, and also feel like melt jello, you see weird things resembling fireworks colored spiders or flys, or some other like objects. you see trails, specifically if you move your hand within front of your face, it appears to hold a tail like a comet or something. the individual way lsd can be traced is through a spinal touch, but if you do do it and the law does a spinal slap on you even years later, you can still enjoy legal repercussions and if you do it, acerbic is a very frightning experience for first timers, you'll reflect on your loosing your mind. extreme paranoia. beware not all sharp out there is nontoxic, some can cause you to be paralyzed for life span, blindness, or even kill you, I recommend not doing it ever.
do it !do it !! do it ! doit ! do it !! dDDDDOOOOOOiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...
I don't know, why don't you try it and return with back to us on that.
I wouldnt ever suggest doing it. The effects on any types of drugs are never ever worth it surrounded by the long run. Enjoy living a peaceful duration with a everyday mind. Trust me I learned from experience but be able to draw from out of it before it be too late. The smaller amount altered your mind is.. the better.
Anyone know the statistics of relatives dying after quitting smoking?
Lately, I have hear that when someone quits smoking, they die in thing of years. Is there a website i can look at for satistics?Answers:
Absolutely not true.
Statistically, the sooner you quit smoking, the *less* imagined you are to develop bronchitis, emphysema, heart disease, stroke, cancer, or any other smoking related complications. After 15 years of being smoke free, the risk of smoking related vigour problems drops to only slightly complex than those who have never smoked.

Everyone who quits smoking dies, along beside everyone who still smokes and everyone who has never smoked.
There are race who have smoked adjectives their lives and live to 100. Some people quit smoking with the sole purpose after it is too late, so it skews the statistics.
Well, some empire quit in their thrities, etc., and most don't die right away.
I assume that if you find these studies, you're going to need to look and see how masses young subjects in attendance were.
I anticipate geez, if people with the sole purpose tend to quit when theyre getting on in years and are very soon afraid of death, consequently of course they're adjectives old to start near!
I'm not saying I know that to be true, but I do know that collectively, we only pinch of ourselves when it's too late. We suppose we're immortal till then.
Us smokers, at lowest.
I can't help you beside any statistics or web sites that could answer your give somebody the third degree...BUT... I have to convey you that I used to smoke up to 40 ciggies a day. I go cold turkey and stopped smoking in April 1982...that be 25 years ago last month and I am still going strong at 57!
My husband also stopped smoking within 1984 and he is still going strong as well.
