Health Question
Who have have lasik earlier and what are the results?
Are there any side effects you hold? If so, how bad is it?*important Question* how long have it been since your LASIK?
How long did it give somebody a lift for your vision to restore to usual? Did your vision really run to 20/15 as I have read contained by my researches? Do it correct astigmatism? Does your eyes feel majority, like no dryness or itching or what so ever affliction after the surgery? IF you have halo or double vision, how bleak is it, Does it go away after a while??
Please aid me with these question, because i am Really really tired of wearing glasses and contacts, and I am really considering to obtain Lasik.
Answers:
I love it. Painful healing process for a few weeks. No side effects. 20/19 trance. Will need reading goggles someday as this is an eye muscle problem we get as we age. Eyes be aware of just as they did prior to the surgery. Colors give the impression of being more vibrant (to me).
They cured the "halo" issue years ago by broadening the operated nouns around the pupil. Was very night light sensitive for two to three weeks. Saw star-bursts for three weeks or so. Saw faint halo for four weeks or so.
Had surgery in Canada surrounded by 2003. Flew up there for better price. Now prices here are compatible.
my greatly close friend had both eyes done more or less 6 years ago. She highly recommend it - she's so very pleased beside the result ! All you need to do is train your eyes to stay instigate for a minute without blinking ! It did cost fairly a bit (6 G) take attention and good luck
I have 3 friends who did it and they love it. With the more years its out it seems to grasp easier, less expensive and smaller quantity invasive. They usually had to wear sunglasses for a few weeks but they be fine. Also its cost effective when you surmise about how much you spend on contacts and eyeglasses over so many years.
i have lasik 6 yrs ago and i see much better, i went from 20/80 to 20/20. I own no problems. I did my homework in finding a dutiful doctor. Dr Norden was the best at that time and still ; hes surrounded by New Jersey. The surgery was express and painless. i had to wear shadows shades the next morning, but after that i was amazed at the results, i stomped on my goggles and threw them out.
I had LASIK five years ago. I in actual fact have 20/10 nightmare. LASIK does correct for astigmatism depending on how much you have and how gummy your corneas. I am actually an ophthalmic surgical scrub tech and enjoy seen 100's of populace acheive these results. Most people I see drive themselves to their in the future post op visit. I have my surgery on Friday and was assisting contained by surgery myself on the Monday morning following the procdure.
Everyone is different in their recouping and people can even own each eye behave differently postoperatively. Initially your eyes will be more prone to dryness. Most race improve near time, but the eyes do tend to be a little more dry after LASIK because the chutzpah endings enjoy been cut.
Immediately after the surgery, especially the first 24-48 hours your eyes will be aware of a little irritated. For me it be very similar to the sensations I feel after swimming all daytime in a pool beside too many chemicals. Your eyes will be more comfortable closed, so if you own it done, go home thieve a nap and when you are awake use artificial tears as much as you can. I have no discomfort during the procedure. The worse part is the instrument they use to hold your eyelids out of the opening. Your eye is numb, but not the lids so you will consistency pressure on your eyelids.
I have halo very similar to what I have with contact lens wear. Again everyone's experience is different and some are bothered more than others. There are also different methods of acheiving refractive error corrections. ( LASIK, PRK, LRI, LASEK etc. ) LASIK have become a somewhat generic term. Each procdure have it's pros and cons and some procedures are more appropriate than others depending on your visual wants, refractive error and anatomy.
I would have LASIK again within a heart beat! But you own to do your research, way the pros and cons and desire for yourself. Don't be afraid to ask questions. A ably qualified surgeon welcomes your question and wants to answer adjectives of them to your satisfaction. Bottom splash, LASIK is very not detrimental procedure when done by a well qualifed surgeon, but not totally short risk. Check out the doctor AND the facility where you agree on to have the procedure. Good luck

What is it?
I am wanting to know wh at is a pelivic exam and how to they check stuffAnswers:
for women, they use a speculum that opens the vagina and allows the doctor to see inside that nouns. They will also collect a swab culture to see if you have any type of infection and will check the cervix by doing a pap smear for cancer. They will also do an exam by inserting fingers into the vagina and pressing down on the tummy to check for growths or masses....and consequently do a rectal to check for the same....they can also do an ultrasound or CT scan if in that is something felt
Will Medicare rate for a coup¨¦ raise for a power bench?
My mom has a power bench (not a scooter) and is spending more and more time in it to acquire around. She wants to go and get out of the house occasionally, like to shift to the store, church or even the doctor's office, and is no longer competent to manage next to a walker or a rattan. We need to seize a lift platform (I don't know what it's really called) that attaches to the posterior of a car on a hitch and allows you to roll the power bench onto it so you can take it near you. I've seen them online for $1000+, and since she's on disability and Medicare, that's particularly beyond our means. Will Medicare cover this resembling they did the chair itself?Answers:

What are the condition benefits of have a chalice of wine every darkness?
Some people I know criticise this, recitation me I'll become an alcoholic, but I think it's upright for my health because of the antioxidants. Am I right?Answers:
the dark red wines, like chianti, and merlot, do contain alot of antioxidants. One 6 oz serving of them a dark will do you no harm, and may do alot of apposite. But your friends are right, the potential for abusing alcohol go up, just be aware and you should be fine. Congratulations for wanting to do what you can for your own condition and well person.
studies show it is good for decreasing the accidental for heart disease (red wine, I believe).
Yes but why not just use grape pip extract capsules and capture the same benefit for your heart.
you are right as long as you stick to that routine and no more than that
I've hear that beer has much matching benefit, and that low/non-alcoholic beer is even better since instead of raising your arbitrariness of getting thrombosis it lowers it.
The red wines are the ones that research claims have the antioxidants. I prefer the merlot myself. I close to to have a cup of merlot with my dinner.
in attendance is a strong link between red wine and decrease chance of heart problems. the rationale many own complaints and contests about it, is because for most wine hits them faster and harder and it doesn't essence as bad a liquor does.
Yes, you can go and get 'good antioxidants' from drinking red wine ... but you can get even more antioxidants by intake fresh blueberries and pomegranate, or having fresh broccoli and cauliflower for dinner. You should not 'excuse' your have a 'nightly drink' by saying it's 'good for your health' because of the 'antioxidants' because within are far better ways to get those antioxidants ... so yes, you could be an alcoholic ... not become one, but ARE ONE NOW. Can you NOT DRINK that 'glass of wine' for the subsequent four or five nights and not 'really requirement one'? THEN you aren't an 'alcoholic' ... but otherwise, you are.
The alcohol in wine help thin the blood which within turn causes smaller number stress on your cardio vascular system. Any type of alcohol will have this affect whether it be beer, whiskey, etc. Drinking too much alcohol can enjoy negative affects on your body, so save it moderate. The one advantage that dark red wines is that they have more antioxidants which are beneficial to your body as a complete.
Stopped smoking 4 days ago, I very soon surface close to release warm up?
how can I cope? I dont want to start again but I dont know what to do! will I ever feel better and well again?Answers:
Yeah, it's going to be a rough week. Just tough it out. Your body is coughing out all the crap that it is used to have in its lungs. It can have a feeling like a really impossible cold. When you get long-gone this, you'll be healthier than you be two weeks ago. You'll get rid of that smoker's cough and in actuality be able to breathe again. In another month, you'll be capable of smell better too (I meant your sense of smell, but I guess your odor will promote too.)
Let me take a second to put on alert you: This is a constant battle. I used to muse that people who be "alcoholics who have be sober for five years" were full of crap and fully recovered, but they are right--the problem doesn't walk away. I quit smoking for over two years, had a unpromising weekend and bought a pack to get by, and become a smoker all over again. Don't own another cigarette! Ever!
Yes, you will feel better! You are going through withdrawl. I feel like crap when I quit and it is in recent times part of the process but powerfully worth it!! Just keep pushing on and don't provide up. You CAN do it!!
You'll be fine! You will feel better and you will get the impression healthier I promise. You only just need to travel through the withdrawls. Everytime you want to smoke, drink something (alcohol probably not the best thing when stopping another addiction). Water, liquid, milk, soda, ANYTHING! Or go play a part in some movement that does not allow you to smoke, like going to see a movie next to friends. Go jogging if you are premonition antsy. But I promise you will be fine!
Good for you!! don't give up in a minute, you can do it!
giving up isn't easy, but you'll find that after a couple of weeks it get better, save the currency you would have spent on Cig's and at the winding up of the week, give yourself a treat, Keep up the well-mannered work! YOU CAN AND WILL DO IT!! Congratulations!
treat yourself and incorporate a bit of exercise if you can. maybe a shopping trip? you're doing really, really ably - it's a very complex thing to do and you should be incredibly proud of yourself.
if you can motivate yourself to do something physical it would be really good for you, it'll release endorphines and hopefully tire you out so you can tumble asleep and not think around the evil cigarettes xxx
I've seen friends stir through this, you're still going through withdrawal.
Soon ample when all traces of nicotine are out of your body you will no longer own the cravings.
Good Luck!
Control yourself. After few months the temptation will be in motion off. Have some fennel kernel coated sweets when you feel warm! I was a tie up smoker for 15 years and my will power helped me to take out out of this habit. Now I'd completed 5 successful years, and never again. Feeling is righteous now..Stop going for party for few months, where you seize tempted again.

Distract yourself, get somewheer where you cant smoke, that will nick your mind off it and you dont see population with ciggys floppy out their mouths. Its all contained by the will power. You feel close to death warm up because your body was relying on nicotine for stress nouns and you are suffreing from what is known as withdrawl symptoms.
Good luck, walk for it, only you can do it and I aspiration you all the best.
My dad give up smoking by using the nicotine replacement patches. He also ate anything he wanted. He put on alot of immensity, but it helped him stop. You could try nicotine gum as ably. Just don't start again. These next couple of days will be the worst but it does win easier. Just think how you would get the impression if you didn't give up and afterwards developed lung cancer and had to shift through chemo, I think you would perceive worse!
Since smoking is an addiction you cud try Rehab or acupuncture. Also try nicotine gums.
You have to dance through nicotine withdrawal but you will come out the other side.
These answers you own are full of support for you. Don't give up we believe contained by you.
Good Luck!

An amazing thing have happened to me. I enjoy smoked for 40yrs
like most smokers l know it wasn't doing me any good, and own
tried on previous occassions to quit, with the oblige of nicotine gum
and patches,to no avail.Last Thursday I be browsing the Amazon
site looking for a particular book (nothing to do near smoking) I found a book and CD by Paul Mckenna titled " Quit Smoking Today
Without Gaining Weight, it be half price, so I bought it. I open the
book on Monday afternoon, listened to the disc, and l have gone
from 40 a year to none, and I feel great,it's out of this world. still have to
listen to the disc once a day for 2 weeks. Try it.
DEFINITELY........ You are not going to die from a horrible lung disease immediately, if you keep it up !!! If you really hold a problem fighting the craving, buy some nicotine - gum and exhaust this slowly, day by sunshine. Best is to seek warning from your GP/ District Nurse, if really you cannot cope..........WELL DONE so far, Good Luck.
You will fell better soon you are going through the withdrawal stage , stick with it will be so worth it and you should feel so proud of yourself ..
Good Luck !! Think of adjectives the money you`re saving ..
What is worse for your eyes, contacts or specs?
Answers:
contacts - only for the increased prospect of infection and the bother of putting them in and taking them out.
they are both okay to use =it freshly depends on which you prefer
im guessing contacts because you put them directly on your eye, whereas glasses never touch your eyes. also contacts can grasp infected and then you can gain an eye infection if you don't clean them ably.
I would say contacts are better because they are touching your eyes and you hold to put them in, specs are much easier, I'm talking from experience, you of late put them on and go. They are also elder so more people hold had specs than contacts.
they are both okay but i think goggles are better. Contact may irritate your eyes or scratch them if you don't know how to use them correctly. But immediately days they have those 1/2 hose ones so you barely sense them so i'd say it depends which one you are comfortable beside
I have be using or let me read out needing something to back with my fantasy and i have discovred that eyeglasses are gentler on the yes.. If I am wearing my contacts for a long time or all sunshine and night and i am exhausted or basically tired, when i take past its sell-by date my contacts my eyes burn.. But with my eyeglasses i do not get that. Its of late that the contacts are directly on the eyes. I definately love both and Need Both.. I am not really that blind but i LOVE to see..
contacts because it might go into ur eyes and if u dont nick them out(like stike your fingers under you eyelid)(because that happend 2 my friend)you might be blind or if u trip up asleep with them ur skrewd........u... specs u can just smoothly put them on and take them stale.
Soft contact lensses
Neither is, really, as long as you are scrupulously clean near your contacts.
Contact lenses are said to prevent your eyes from deteriorating as quickly, so they may be slightly better.
I've worn contacts for 30 years, and no infections. It's nice to avoid that constant push-them-back-up piece AND no fogging up when you come in from the cold. PLUS, you can wear fun sunglasses instead of prescriptions.

Are bulimics privately envious of anorexics?
?Answers:
No I don't think so, because they can soak up a good breakfast time. They also get better.
I just think so. That's close to saying are family with a cold envious of Pneumonia sufferers. What profusely of crap!
People who suffer from this disorder are too focused on themselves and how they look, to be even interested in an anorexic. Both are mental disorders Primarily. I do believe that a chemical inbalance have now be recognized and lasting conditions bring it on. Both with aid can be overcome.
Does anyone know what could be wrong near me??
i have sore breast and the are also swelled..i be aware of sick to my tummy and i have took 4 ept and they adjectives come back neg (-) my finishing period finished on jan 14th ??Answers:
you could be pregnant, but mayb it's too early to receive a test, dawdle for 2-3 more weeks, and then get hold of another test, if it's still denial, visit your gynae
I don`t know u'll have ur extent soon? some girls get swollen and tender breasts when theyre in the order of to get their menstrual cycle. but its better if u a short time ago go to ur doctor.
How aged are you? Menopause, maybe?
Go to the doctor. Get some pills.
If you've gain much weight lately, that can lead to your period to become irregular and your breasts to be sore.
If that's not the suitcase, you should see your doctor for a blood test to rule out pregnancy. Some women don't procure positive results on home tests until they're four or five months along (I own two friends who that happened to).
When I be pregnant, the first and most severe symptom both times was fatigue. Also, my breasts hurt so much I couldn't story on my stomach. You also get little clusters of raise bumps around your nipples when you're pregnant...although they don't go away after you've have a baby, so they're merely a clue if this would be your first pregnancy.
Please go and drop by the doctor!
