I am 12 years old and wear specs. I think that I am an eligble canidate for contacts. I'm responsible, and I give attention to that I could do well next to them. My doctor on the other hand told me that I should dawdle until I was 16 years dated!! That is way to long, and besides, I know other 12 year olds who are wearing contacts. I know profusely! So I'm doing some research and would like to hear some comments from eye doctors and conceivably if you guys could help me research! My mom think that my doctor is right, but I think that if you look out into the world today, this is not an unreasonable item to ask. Help please!Answers:

12 is too babyish due to the fact that your eyes are not fully developed but. Fiting your eyes for proper contacts will be tough and they are bound to change frequently. I wore eyeglasses and didn't get contacts until i be 17. Also don't go base on your friends, everyone's eyes are different. Your other option is to hold your parents get a 2nd evaluation from another eye doctor to confirm the 1st doctor's suggestion.
Have you asked your doctor why he feels this road? It probably has nought to do with whether or not you're responsible satisfactory to take thinking of them. Some of the 12-year-olds you see wearing contact lenses have problems that regular goggles can't correct, but contact lenses can. It could have something to do near the shape of your eyeballs that the contact lenses won't fit properly. Ask; that's the only instrument you'll know for sure.
Also, ask yourself why you want to wear contact lenses. Is it because they're 'cool', or you think you'll look better contained by contact lenses? Those are not good reason. I've been wearing specs since I was eight years frail, but didn't get my first duo of contact lenses until I was over 20. And I still wear my eyeglasses more often than I do my contact lenses.

i was shaving my arms and i hold this mole and i cut it and now it wont stop bleeding. what do i do?Answers:
#1 Stop shaving your arms.. if you are doing that to remove curls you are only making it worse.
#2 Apply pressure to the cut. It will eventually stop bleeding. If it doesn't scab over by morning progress see your doctor.
#3 Keep the area verbs and let it grasp plenty of air.

I heard a rumor not too long ago that wearing specs can actually product your eyesight worse after wearing them for a long time, and I was newly wondering if anyone had any [preferably medical-related] facts on this topic?I'll be need glasses soon and I'm not sure whether I should opt for contacts or not. [But I'd much fairly wear glasses if they won't injure my eyesight, because putting things in your eyes creeps me out majorly!!]

You might want to convey them around in a satchel, and put them on when you can't see something. You seriously don't wanna put them on all the time. i enjoy really bad eyes, i wear goggles mostly bc i dont seem to tolerate contacts economically. my eyes have in fact improved some over the years, so no i dont believe this is true. by the track i cant see a thing lacking them, so i have to wear them adjectives of the time.
yes. If you wear them all the time, you will find used to them and won't be able to see very well without them. It's better lately to use them to watch tv, while on your laptop and so on. Other times go in need them if you can, if not, if your eye verbs is really bad, after you should wear them all the time.

If it's because you truly feel paralyzed, approaching you can't move because of a physical thing it may be something else. There is narcolepsy but it doesn't nouns like that. Sometimes society get into really immense sllps where they enjoy trouble moving even after they are awake. This is just a thing of taking more time and dealing with it, slowly moving and not hurting yourself by moving too hurriedly. Whatever it is if it gets seriously worse, see someone if you can afford it. But, I would try relaxation tapes, dep breathing...the local library should hold some of these. Good luck.
