I use Zicam nasal swabs, no taste, lol. I find it works ably to shorten the duration and severity of any cold. Remember colds are caused by an assortment of "rhino viruses" and zinc, the primary ingredient in Zicam blocks replication of viral RNA, so when you apply it directly to the source of infection, the nasal mucosa, you really do affect the virus there. Be sure to follow the instructions, do not insert the swabs too far or it can burn a bit, won't hurt you, but it's humiliated. If you have a large amount of burning and swelling, don't use it again, some few people hold had allergic reaction. I also use Zicam on a regular basis to support me avoid getting colds, I haven't actually have a cold in three years as a result.

Why are you supposed to discontinue supplements 2 weeks prior to surgery?

Mama's right. Since supplements are not regulated by the FDA they don't own to adhere to any guidelines as far as what their content and potency are. (They don't even own to contain what they say they contain.) It's possible that the supplements could breed you bleed profusely or they could interfere with any other medication you are prescribed for the surgery.
I am a bit skeptical when it comes to supplements. Most of them (i.e. St. John's, echinacea, etc.) do not provide the benefits they espouse and they are no more natural than prescription medication.
It could be that the supplements interfere next to anesthesia or they thin the blood so that it is harder to stop bleeding.

Well, yesterday i noticed that my bellybutton be leaking a clear soft almost like sweat. I expect it be mixing with dirt and it dries up on my stomach. IT's almost resembling earwax for your bellybutton. I look in nearby and i notice a small cut inside my bellybutton. The gooey is clear and has no odor. My mom say bellybuttons sweat and it's mixing with dirt and it dries up on hte outerpart of my bellybutton. I own no piercings and didn't do anything to cut my bellybutton. Is it an infection? Should I be extremely worried or can i wait a few days previously i go to the doctor? IS this existence threatening? I hear navels are connected to the liver. What should i do to clear this up? Well, my daughter finished up with an infection surrounded by her bellybutton last month that she have let step, thinking cleaning and neosporin would clear it up eventually. She finally ended up going to the doctor when it get bright purply red and hurt so much she could no longer stand to wear jeans.
It turned out to be a fungus infection for which the doctor prescribed a very strong anti-fungal. And it took a week to clear up completely.
