Why do my eyes burn after I cry?

I was crying yesterday for around 10 or 15 mins and my eyes burned for about a couple of hours afterwards. It's not the first time it's happen. It's really annoying. It's even more annoying if I go to sleep right after I've cried. It's intricate to sleep with my eyes burning. Just wondering.

I am not an eye doctor, so I really dont know, But mine do this too, and I other assumed it was wreak we lost so much moisture thru the tears and they simply dried out, as tho we were within the wind. Once I use eye drops, they stop burning. Would love to see what any others articulate on this. Good question.
Maybe if you wear makeup, it runs into your eyes. I enjoy that problem sometimes too. Try putting cold washcloths on your eyes after you cry.
All I can add to the 1st 2 answers is to ask if you rub them while you cry? My daydream blurs a lot, and when i be still in the "rub my eyes to try and clear them" mindset, they'd burn resembling heck afterwards.

taking something herbal should be fine if you take it alone, but dont filch it WITH a prescription. sometimes herbs can affect the path a drug reacts near you.

St Johns wort works ok for some people depending on how depressed they are. I would give attention to it might work for mild depression, but for more serious cases, try the Prozac. Just don't go sour it cold turkey and you should be ok.
I was on fluoxetine when I be very depressed and I didn't really want to start taking them but I suffered for nearly a year earlier I really couldn't take anymore. I hold come of it now have taken it for about 3 months. It made me quality loads better and I didnt find it hard to come past its sell-by date of. i took st johns wort when i wasn't coping after my dad died and it help, i am now taking it again i am not depressed but am not powerfully and am having lots of test, which is very stressful i am also surrounded by pain so it get me down, like next to antidepressants they don't work immediately they own to build up in your system so pass them time they are helping me through and i would recomend them to anyone

I also had reservations just about taking an anti depressant. My Doctor assured me that Prozac was a apt medicine, and if I took even 10 mg every other light of day I would feel better. I resisted at first, but grew tired of my symptoms and did start taking 10 mg every other time. When nothing bizarre happen I began taking it as prescribed, every sunshine. I now grain so much better. I know nothing around St John's Wort so I can't comment on that. The best source of information is your medical doctor.
Your doc has given you these for a root. Take them because they are the best thing for your problem. They enjoy very few if any side effects and are really good for treating depression. Don't give somebody a lift any more that prescribed and do not stop taking them suddenly and you'll have no problems. When the time comes to stop taking them do it unhurriedly, If you take 1 a daylight then cart one and miss the next days dose and so on. Hi, I get anxiety. I've never given St John's Wort a proper try though I hold a bottle I bought once. I was a bit put past its sell-by date by the caution that it can make happen photosensitivity as I burn in the sun far too efficiently already. Also, it's supposed to take a while to hold any effect. I would trust your doctor for now and budge with the fluxetine - of which I own no experience though I did used to be on Seroxat. I'm no longer on medication although in adjectives honesty, sometimes I maybe should be. Sleep paralysis: What are your experiences?

I have experienced sleep paralysis several times in my life span, no matter how I sleep it still happen. Reminds me of something out of a horror movie. I was wondering if any one would similar to to share there experiences .

horrible. Its like human being awake, but dreaming at the same time. So you hear adjectives the "sounds" in your dream, but you're awake and conscious, you cant unscrew your eyes, or scream or cry or even move

I'm not sure if my understanding of sleep paralysis is indistinguishable as yours since I don't have dreams. It happen when I'm very tired/stressed. It other starts with me lay down on my bed with the intention of only laying down. However, I start falling asleep, but when I still awake, my integral body becomes paralyzed (I forgot, but possibly I was competent to move my eyelids and eyes only). I try my best to move parts of my body, but I can't. Meanwhile, I'm staring at one part of my room, panicky, and wondering when I am going to get out of it. Sometimes I hear a loud static-buzzing nouns and think aliens own frozen me and are coming to kidnap me (I know, weird), and sometimes and enjoy a difficult time breathing (very scary). Usually I come out of the paralysis in roughly speaking less than 2 minutes, but the intact time I am very panicky and wonder if I am ever going to come out of it and whether anyone will find me, and once they find me, if they'll think I'm surrounded by a coma or something. The sleep paralysis that I've had have made me wonder about ethnic group in vegatative states (i.e. Terri Shiavo). Maybe they are not really brain late, but are in a state similar to sleep paralysis where on earth they are conscious but have no instrument of signaling that they are. you may be a bit anemic. If your gums aren't bleeding tho' I doubt it is terribly serious. You can try taking an iron supplement for a couple of months to see if that doesn't lend a hand. If you still notice nosebleeds and bruising after a couple of months on iron supplements, or indeed if your gums bleed for no use at any time, then you would see your doctor to attain a blood test for anemia.

I don't know which color is the liquid you taken, but vitamin usually turn your pee ashen not green. I would subject you to take it to a pharmacy and ask ask about it or a doctor.

You should know that music does soothe you. I plug my headphones into my iPod and I receive it just loud ample to not hear myself breathe. You forget about the sounds and you drift to sleep or you basically forget about the sounds and be in motion on with your business. It's matching with the TV and radio.
I return with afraid of night noise too so I found that if I place a box fan by my bed at dark. The constant spins of the turbines block out the noise. You shouldn't verbs so much about things that are beyond your control.
