Tongue Piercing Can't Taste?!?!?!?!?

I had my tongue pierced on Monday, and ever sense I really can't zest as well, my friend have it done and she said it's normal and it comes subsidise once your piercing heals...I be wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem? Please oblige!
