Why is the standard of English GPs surgeries and the standard of meticulousness offered the GP's themselves so poor?

Personal experience has made me so dispondent, I don't even bother going to my doctor, I jump to a drop in clinic (a topical NHS centre) in a nearby borough.
I am supposed to take my son to child robustness clinic at my GPs but the place is always full, it's too small for it's purpose and it isn't somewhere I would really close to to take him anyway.
I go to 3 other surgeries in the nouns to check them out, they are all as unpromising as each other.
I checked out the ceremonial thing on the NHS website for the PCT abd it said 'POOR'. Why do we enjoy to put up with this sub-standard vigilance?

Coming from the other side of things, as a working practice nurse, I have to influence I completely agree with you. But PLEASE don't blame your GP, or their staff, they are trying their best to assistance their patients in these conditions. The rule has put a HUGE amount of pressure on us to stumble upon targets, cut down on waiting times, etc etc, and if we don't assemble their unachieveable standards, we don't get funding. GP's can't afford the staff they necessitate to provide a good service, we're disallowed to book patient appointments contained by advance, we can't afford adjectives the equipment we need. I cogitate though that the NHS in common is suffering with like problem, not enough funding and too much pressure. Every light of day we prescribe medications that cost around 3 times more than the lb6.50 presription charge, and the difference in cost comes out of our budget. Well the dutiful thing is that it's free - don't knock that. The discouraging thing is that you aren't the paying customer, the system is. GPs get rewarded for the number of patients registered to them. So the more patients registered, the more they get compensated. There is no incentive for them to spend time with you. Every time you stop by you are a nuisance.
I'm lucky my doctor have a purpose built surgery, Mornings are first come first served afternoons are by appointment. My one niggle is no Saturday mornings, but you can not have everything. I enjoy not needed to ring a doctor out in an emergency thank God

near are too many patients at my doctors and if you want to see the biggest doctor there is a three week waiting register and you are only allowed to cause an appointment two weeks in finance so in other words you cant.

If its' been a while since your second physical exam, I'd go ahead and calendar one, so that your doctor can rule out anything serious.
