I have propanolol prescribed for anxiety aswell. To be honest, I didn't find them very adjectives. They didn't seem to cool me down. Worth a try though as one of my friends is on them and thinks they're fantastic. I be prescribed Cipralex for anxiety and think that works brilliantly. Alot of the time next to this condition, it is a case of trial and error. Remember that if anything doesn't suit you, to step back to your GP asap and insist that they shift medication for you.
