Do I own Synesthesia?

I don't taste anything when I simply hear words spoken. However, when I chomp through certain foods, I purposely come up with of certain words that get the taste more satisfying. I can have up to 8 words for one food. For example, the word 'family' go with french fries near some ketchup, but fries without ketchup=mail. Yes, I know..it's INSANE.
Another point: I see the days of the week and the months (lined up from January to December) in a unmistaken type of semi-circular layout...it almost looks similar to a calander. This is synesthesia, correct? I understand some empire have more severe forms,such as audible range colors and seeing certain things within shapes/colors (I definitely don't experience that stuff!) but what I enjoy is accurate too, right?

Does anyone else own curved toes?

My toes have be curved all my existence and I'm finally beginning to wonder why...and if they will be a problem latter in energy.

They are really unflattering and my second toes are longer than my "big" toes...can anyone explain it?

I'm a 23 year old mannish if that makes a difference...

Lots of nation have curved toes, and lots of inhabitants also have a second toe that's longer than the first. This is not a abnormality. However, if wearing shoes is painful, you might want to see a podiatrist.
I ponder it's genetics, i be born with my toes crossed (so I'm told) and mine are still adjectives crooked, so are my dad's and brother's and I know I'm the only one of the 3 of us who forces my foot into ridiculous pointed shoes so it must be genetics

I guess im not the simply one, im 20 yrs old and im still a moment or two self consience about my toes man curved, theres no discomfort. big toes are normal. my sister used to other make fun of me and thats why i detested my feet. but hey nothin i can adjust so if it comes up i claim my curved toes

TO ALL LPN'S -- What would I be doing, will I be touching family much?

There are so many add in the dissertation for LPN's...

I want to know what this person does, exactly. I approaching people, I don't resembling touching body fluids, I have never have any desire to become a nurse.

I do love helping people! I am a mom, I can touch a little ick.



I dont mind touching arms, shoulders etc. clothed parts are ok...

LPNs are at the bottom of the totem pole for nurses. So, unsurprisingly you're going to be doing all the dirty work. You WILL be handling and cleaning bodily fluids. You WILL own to touch and clean parts of the body that aren't clothed.

It's a burnout occupation but rewarding. I don't want to discourage you but you don't seem resembling a good hopeful for nursing. Many people enter the corral unaware of what it entail and quickly leaves. I push for you to become a certified nursing assistant before you become an LPN to return with use to all the dirty work. If you can't touch that then you will not be capable of handle it and you could sign out with lone a months time invested instead of a whole year invested within the education.

Yes you will be touching general public a lot and sometimes it will be outstandingly unpleasant but believe me the money is worth it in the long run. Go for it. You already hold experience as a mom trust me you'll be great at it.
This may not be the job for u after. What will you do if your facility is short staffed and its up to u to bathe 1 or 2 patients? If you are unwilling to do those things u better hope that scenario never happen. Otherwise u may want to try a doctor's office for employment.
This depends upon what setting you work surrounded by. I know an LPN who works mostly behind a desk, but a friend of mine get into the clinical part of her background (externship) and quit after two weeks. They wanted her to go in swimming a DEAD MAN! she was surrounded by a nursing home setting. Seems in some settings in that will be a certain amount of 'ick' I consulted a couple of the RNs I work beside and they said "If you dont like ick and you dont want to touch anyone, walk into a different field. Nurses MUST touch family.
this person help the sick...cleans them (bathing,wounds,poopie pants,diapers, etc) you may also go past them there meds, have need of to take a class for this though and you usually receive an extra dollar or so.
Well, it is possible to get job where you don't do much tolerant touching, but you've got to obtain through nursing school first, and that technique doing everything an LPN can be required to do after graduation. There are lots of other things in the pasture of medicine you can do that don't require nearly as much touching, resembling X-ray tech, sonographer, EKG tech, etc. Check out your local community college and see if something else interests you more.

Why cant I sleep? exercise?

I can never sleep i get into bed around 10:30 p.m. but i dont in truth fall asleep till 3 or 4 a.m. my mom said (because i'm solitary 12) i need more exercise within the day so i gain sleepy at night but no situation what i do i cant sleep at all i filch tea at night that help you relax but i hardly works i find like an extra 30 minutes of sleep i havent really talk with my doctor just about it because if i tell my mom in the region of it she says it freshly me and that there zilch wrong. Anybody have an notion about what i can do? is it resembling a disease?

You might not be sleeping due to stress. cause when I cant sleep I am usually really excited or retiring about something scheduled the next light of day. (or when I drink soda. the caffeine will keep me up adjectives night)
What you can do is try reading a book before you dance to sleep. Thats what I do. It can Make you really tired.
so if you have to read something for conservatory, then do it at darkness right before you jump to sleep.
or find a good book and start reading it(I reccamend Harry Potter. If you havent already read it)or try "A Series of Unforunate Events"
after after you read it you can think roughly speaking what will happen subsequent, and start dreaming about it!

Geez! This is arranged to me, and I'm menopausal. Maybe it has something to do beside hormones. Don't do anything that's intense right before bedtime, close to watch a fearsome movie, or action-packed film. It will preserve your mind working.

When I can't sleep, I breathe slow, deep breaths and sometimes that works.

I used to have this problem, but it be because I was afraid of the obscurity and really nervous (because I hold nightmares every night). REGULAR exercise will give you a better night's sleep, though. Your mom's right.
Go to bed more rapidly, and stop eating food two to three hours past you get into bed.

Keep a steady rhythm of when you travel into bed and when you wake up.
Cover up bright lights that may prevent you from falling asleep, and product sure the tea you're drinking isn't caffeinated! : )

That's happened to me. The caffeinated tea, I anticipate. Bouncing off the walls till six am!

Ya...I'm in like boat, but not quite as extreme. I've be sleeping better when I don't have any sweets or anything right up to that time bed, excercise a LOT, and take a shower in the past bed to help you relax. It's worked for me, try it!

Another item, don't drink tea. It may be decaffinated, and if it isn't then that's your problem, but even if it is decaffinated, it have a small amount of caffine in it, a touch can even keep you up.

Yes you can. In fact I usually submit all my patients looking for NRT some form of extra, instant, NRT boost together beside their patch. Gum is fine, but I often suggest the insufflator.

No you will overdose on nicotine. Chew usual gum, but be careful its addictive too.
I've found patch don't give out nicotine at a constant rate. One minute you can be "gasping" and shortly after that you can carry the head spins. Chewing nicotine gum will single add to the problem.
I give up smoking seven months ago and in the establishment I wore a patch and chewed gum. I used both for two weeks and then get rid of the patch. I chewed gum for 5 months until I felt confident satisfactory to go short anything. I am now free of adjectives nicotine products and feeling pious.
My advice, do doesn`t matter what feels right for you to get hold of through the bad times, it's thorny but worth it.

Yes it will give you a prompt fix but why not try the new patch on the market. You put them over your eyes so you can't find your cigarettes!

Lunesta and wake up back 7-8 hours of sleep?

I was of late perscribed with Lunesta sleep medication and I remember on the commercial it said to put together sure you have 7-8 hours to devote to sleep. Im on a honestly small dose and I was simply wondering, say if I have an appointment in the morning and I have to wake up beforehand Id get 7 hours of sleep, would I be approaching extremely tired?

I believe the main problem near Lunesta and waking rash is partially the chemical harmonize in your body change. I don't think the problems sprawl completely in groginess. I importantly recommend calling your doctor in this good opinion (a phone call is usually free, though I don't know why he/she wouldn't hold explained this to you when prescribing it.)

Two choices. Grit your teeth and unzip, or cut the bottom of the zipper and pull it apart. The first leaves you beside a working zipper but hurts like the dickens. I only own a shower and no bath - i thought of wrapping clingfilm round the plaster; does anyone have any suggestions ?

i would hold a body wash instead, newly by standing in front of the sink beside a flannel and some soap..
You could wrap it in more guaze... and in truth, as long as it doesn't get soaked, you should be okay. Just kep it out from underneath the direct spray.

A plastic sack might be an option but I would recommend double checking near the nurse or your dr to see what they say in the region of how to handle this situation.
put your leg into a debris bag. above the burn, wrap a washcloth around the leg, verbs the plastic bag up and verbs a big rubber band or wrap some cassette around the bag higher than the cloth. then above the cloth, wrap some more cassette or put a rubber band.
Plastic case or bin liner!! Also putting your leg on the side as you shower will help. My mum is have an op on her foot soon and will have to do this for 2 months!!
i have sorta the same problem when i adjectives my hand to the bone, i found one of them vinyl medical gloves next to a rubber band be good.

for your leg, i suggest a black backpack with again rubber band (not too tight) round each cease or simply soap and flannel "bed bath" type wash till ur covering comes off.

I have a feeling dizzy surrounded by public?

Sounds like a social anxiety. Just relax and remember that nil bad is going to surface. If it gets so desperate that you avoid being within public, though, see a psychologist.
It is a form of Anxiety, there are medicine on the market for treatment. What you are have sounds like a Anxiety attack.

Why am I other unsettled when I wake up up?

Every morning for the past couple of months, I get up up and I am really nauseous. No, I'm not pregnant. I usually cannot munch through until I'm almost at work (about 2 hours after I get up). I don't enjoy acid reflux, I don't wake up up in the middle of the dark about to vomit, it only gets really annoying I can't grasp the fuel in my body when I necessitate it most.

I'm the exact same. Do you hate work or wake up early for it? I find it happen when I have to rouse up for school, but for zilch else...or when I'm away from home. I think it's chiefly a nerve article. I don't know how to fix it, but I wish I did! I really don't want to walk to college and wake up seasick every day...
try intake saltine crackers before you be in motion to bed. It might help.
You might enjoy a late darkness snake that has plentifully of protien in it... that road your body has a instrument to fuel itself while you are sleeping and can use some of that energy when you first stir up. I am hypoglycemic and have to own either peanut butter and toast or a piece of lunch meat right since I go to bed. The other piece I tried was to drink liquid first thing contained by the morning. Gets my blood sugar up and allows me to get prepared for work before ingestion breakfast. Good Luck!

Personally what I look for is staff and a doctor who are attentive and through, who pocket the time to examine me and listen to what I have to utter. My Mother`s life have been save twice by going to a doctor who took the time to investigate a seemingly harmless little blip on a mamogram or ultra nouns, yet it turned out to be cancer (one time breast cancer, another time Uterine cancer). When she be transfered to another hospital for surgery, the doctors there said they never would own even noticed it, even so because it was caught within very hasty stages, her survival statistics were incredibly increased.

I own been to doctors who hold been too prideful to realise they are wrong and insist on treatment or not make available me or my child treatment on things they are VERY wrong about (my kid broke out within a rash after I put newborn oil on her..the doctor didn`t even look at the impetuous, but assumed it was breast milk and told me to stop breasfeeding, eventhough I INSISTED it have to be the baby grease. I was right and completely unobserved what he told me. I got cream from another doctor. I will never shift back to that doctor, he is completely useless).

I hold also had doctors who enjoy performed things on me lacking giving me forwarning or letting me know the risks involved. I hate anyone kept in the shadows about things that involve my body. I own lost trust with these doctors and am exceptionally weary of going to somone who does not filch the time to find out how to properly treat me.

If I feel something ain`t right, I am getting a 2nd or even 3rd inference and being sure to consult every ably known medical encyclopedia or trellis site I know until I get to the bottom of what is really going on!!
