Well first start beside the school. 4 years of standard college, later 4 years of med school, next 4 years of internship at a hospital, then 2 years as a fellow to a surgeon. And yes they average in the region of 70-100 hours a week. I currently work at a heart and lung building for our hospital and believe me, its not a fun life if you are planning to attain married or have children. You will CONSTANTLY be on-call. and curl up spending 2-4 days at the hospital working, I've seen it.

If I cry to not easy and I am very upset I sometimes cough and vomit...But I own to be emotional broken down for that.. Try a migraine medication, for me, aspirin, Tylenol, all that doesn't relieve headaches, and most times,, headache for me turn into migraines, if I don't take the migraine med.

i know what you're going through. profoundly of times at night i am "tired" and want to jump to sleep, but i'm not "sleepy" if you catch the difference.

For some use, it keeps me up. Try listening to music or watching T.V. Sometimes, that help me get to sleep. Or sometimes, when I read at darkness, I get sleepy. And try clearing your mind up to that time you go to sleep because if you don't you will be awake the total night. Hope that help!

I know that sounds for a while lame, but if you can get yourself to a Zen Buddhist temple and swot up real meditation you'll see how much that will give a hand.
