When did you stop smoking?

Im seriously hoping to give up tomorrow 4th July.
Answers:
In January this year. I have smoked for nearly 60 years, up to 40 a day. It be not easy, I still fancy a puff every so commonly. I took a tablet Champix and that helped me deeply. It would probably be one of the best things you have done within your whole go if you do give up. Plenty of determination and appropriate luck. Wish you well.

I quit smoking for 13 years. Did it cold turkey and never have a desire for it UNTIL. I went through a divorce. The stress be so bad that I required to have a cigarette. I've be back smoking for 4 years very soon.

I stopped smoking last year - July 15th. My one year anniversary is coming up! I haven't have one puff - nothing for a year and can honestly enunciate I want nothing of it.

I registered (free) at www.quitnet.com - you enter surrounded by how many cigs you smoke a morning, how many within a pack, how much your particular cigs cost. You carry updates via email (or you can go to their site) and it tell you a) How many cigarettes you HAVEN'T smoked, b)how much money you've save and c) How much time has (hypothetically) be added to your life.

It's really disgusting - the first time you see that you haven't smoked 100 cigarettes. ANd to picture 100 cigarette butts. It'll gross you out. Also, to see how much money you enjoy saved - that's the kicker. Seriously.

Keep your hand busy. Keep mints/gum around. Whatever it takes to keep hold of your hands past its sell-by date the cigarettes.

One person I know used a big coffee can as an ashtray. When she wanted to quit, she added dampen. And whenever she wanted a cigarette, she go and smelled the can.

On the 2nd February, after my son was born.
nearly 6 years ago after smoking pretty much anything for 10 years. Had to avoid alcohol for 18 months or couldn't own done it. Still have cravings, still miss it, still dream roughly smoking sometimes, but feel so much better for not smoking.
Convinced myself I'd win lung/throat cancer if I didn't stop.
Realised that everytime I had a *** because someone have pissed me off I be letting them get to me & my vigour.
I quit cold turkey on February 26th, 2001. It was the hardest article I've ever done but well worth it. I stumbled on a site call Quitnet back consequently. It's a site dedicated to quitting smoking. You can ask question, answer questions, and cooperate to people that are going through impossible to tell apart thing you are. Or, you can only read the posts. when i be 30 years old. 10 years ago. i v get heartatac and after depression. it s taken 6 mounts to heal but after that s begann nouns atacs . 5 years also i v got this . very soon i am good.

I stopped at 12.25pm on 12th May 1999. I had a doctors appointment at 12.30 and be then transferred to hospital where on earth I underwent a heart problem procedure. I still enjoy the unfinished packet of ciggies and the lighter I used on that time
as a momento.
I stopped smoking when i moved from England to Mexico, about five weeks ago. In england adjectives my friends smoked and the poeple i lived with smoked as ably. When i moved to mexico no one i live near smokes so it made it a little bit easier for me to stop, not anyone constantly surrounded by smoke. going for beer and not smoking kills me, but its get easier week by week. i think the easiest approach to give up is to set yurself a date, possibly 2 weeks from now, after work yourself up to thast date smoking less everyday. Then newly before midnight the sunshine before the date you set smoke your second cigarette, go to sleep and get up up a non-smoker!

Five years ago when I was diagnosed next to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) after smoking 40 a day for 43 years, I be told recently if I hadn't stopped next I would not be around now. Give up in a minute while you can before you do fixed damage to your lungs. All the extremely best.

I stopped smoking in 1984.I have tried to do so many times and have stayed off the weed for some months respectively time,once for 18 months.Each time I eventually gave up;little by little I realised that I could not forever keep thinking "I must never enjoy another cigarette"it was unbeareable to me.
So how?not a problem!When you want a ciggy,or if anyone offer you one,just put it bad until sometime a little subsequent,when that time arrives you can smoke or put it off until ,voice,bedtime,at bedtime smoke or put it off till the morning and so on.This approach you need never become a loser

What the heck?

My bellybutton has be itchy. And now it is excreting some type of fluid. Not pounds of it just slowly excreting. To describe it it is approaching earwax for bellybuttons. WHat is it? should i be worried? I know this is gross but bear beside me.

Eeewwwwww. You've just grossed me out thoroughly. Is it a funky color? Does it smell impossible. If you can answer yes to either of those, it's probably some description of infection. Maybe this is too obvious, but you should verbs it out with soap. If it still have crap coming out of it, see a doctor. And put a band-aid or something over it.

Whats wrong next to me?

For the past two days.I cant rouse up!!
I go to bed at nearly 1 am (which is normal for me)
and I havent be waking up until 2pm!

This happened to me for a while, I would sleep similar to beyond the normal 10 hours. Then I changed my pattern totally. I make sure alteast contained by bed or on my way to bed by 11 pm so I can wake up up at 8:00. Then I get up regardless.

You don't own to go to bed untimely or anything but say you spill out asleep by 1:00, set your alarm clock for 8 horus later and Get up regardless, after a while your body will adopt the change and shape to sleeping 8 hours not 10.

Plus sometimes when you get too much sleep you are truly more tierd, at least for me.

If this doesn't back or if you are concerned then you should consult your doctor as soon as possible!

Reduce your sugar intake, drink more hose, and get more exercise. This will lend a hand your blood sugar. It sounds like your blood sugar is too giant and you are sleeping it off. You could be a Diabetic. See a Doctor. Switch to Diet Drinks and do some Yoga. Peace.

A good friend of mine have cancer and that was the first symptom, but another friend of late overworked herself and didnt realize how drained she was. All the guys in my nearest and dearest range from 5'11" at the shortest to 6'5 at the tallest except for my little brother who is 5'8" and growing hasty. My mother at only 5'3 though is the tallest within our family, but I'm simply stuck at 5'5.5". It sucks being short and it have played a role in my deficiency of self esteem for my whole go. I know quite a few empire, some of which I know, have grown up to 4" at around 20-21 years mature, but the last time I grew be from 5'2" to 5'5.5" when I was 15. Is in that still hope? I also look young at heart for my age by about 4 years or so. I can report you it IS possible to grow in the past due teens and early twenties because I have a 2 inch growth spurt when I was 19-20. Even if you don't grow anymore, remember that here are advantages to being of average plane too!

Wash your moth with Bactidol. It help the ulcers to treat in 1~2 days.

I'm have 2 ulcers on the tip of my toungue since final nite. They are healing especially fast in a minute after bactidol.
This really depends on what kind of ulcer those are. It could be anything from a common cold sore(likely) to oral cancer(unlikely). If it's be there for a while, you probably want to return with it checked out.

I can't get over my shock of hospitals. I can't watch any ER shows on TV, or even have an idea that about hospitals because I win soo nervous! I go to a vets bureau for my cat once and almost passed out just create of the atmosphere!

Sore Muscles! How do I know if it is torn or a moment ago sore?

Yesterday, I did weight-lifting from 10-1; then practiced softball from 6-9. Today I can just walk, it hurts to stand, sit; Laying still is okay, but I still be aware of pain within my left quad and right hamstring. The spasm is not getting any better and I have taken ibuprofen, iced, and tried a heat pack. Could my quad be torn? I cannot bend it and have be walking with a shuffle today. I have practice tomorrow morning. Should I tough it out or stay within bed? Thanks!

You definitely over did -it. You might enjoy stretched a tendon or ligament, and you've emphatically torn muscles. To the best of your ability (and short hurting yourself!--listen to your body and don't hurt it more), try to walk around a bit, stretch and move your muscles. that will thaw them up and, it's been my esperience, restore to health you faster. I would not recommend practicing tomorrow, as you could do serious damage to yourself if a ligament or ligament is torn. If it continues for and doesn't get better surrounded by another couple of days, see a doctor.
Sounds a little too sore not to be injured! There isn't profusely you can do if it is torn! Take Aleve and try not to utilize the muscle very much, take a few days to a week to heal!

Well. im contained by school to be a wipe therapist, and second month we discussed muscles and I finished first in my class so i assume i know a litle about this. Your hamstring, aka ITB (ilioltibial band) is located on the outside of the upper leg, if it is stinging 9 times out of 10 u probably just pulled it and its sore. If you tore it, u would know it, because the affliction would be unbearable. Give it a couple of days, if you commence to notice any swelling, inability to step or stand or numbness, i would suggest seeing a doctor. Good Luck

Whats the Best deodorant?

A good internal deodorant to appropriate is chlorophyll. It will reduce perspiration odour.
If you want the best smell, go Axe.
If you want the best celebration, go Red Zone.
If you are feminine and need a stronger deoderant, use a deoderant/ anti perspirant made for men. Use the odorless/ or scent free kindly. The anti perspirants made for men are stronger. If you are very athletic this will facilitate greatly. Deoderant merely covers the scent, Antiperspirant stops the sweating and keeps the nouns dry. Washing regularly with a apposite deoderant soap like Dial in the past applying the antiperspirant helps greatly, especially within these warmer months.
If you are a feminine, I suggest BAN it keeps away odour and when you sweat it fight againest gross sweat circles that appear on your shirt.
Fa deodorants smell really good and they work ably too.
THE BEST, IMHO is Dove...it keeps me dry, fresh, keep my underarms soft and smooth, doesn't leave grades on my clothes, isn't sticky...it does everything it claims to...

Well im not sure whats cause it, ask your mom if she knows. If she doesnt know, walk get checked out by a doctor. Maybe its only just your daily routine that keep you from sleeping like nap, coffee, etc. I have have the problem on and off for days gone by two weeks but this really helps since bed: take a hot shower, ten or more minutes of reading beforehand bed [it will have you asleep within no time haha it does the trick], hot milk, and just relax. I hope this help! :)
