Get very comfortable. Now starting at your toes, PHYSICALLY relax them. Wiggle them, move them but relax them. Concentrate on doing it. Then stir to your ankles and repeat. Move to your calves, thighs, and etc. Especially relax your face and facial muscles. But I bet by the time you get hold of there you'll be asleep.
Try it, it works because you are concentrating on something else and you are relaxing.

don't sleep in the sunshine. Do not use your bed for anything other than sleep. Reading, ingestion, looking at stuff in bed is a no no.

ok. if you are insomniac look up good sleep hygiene tips such as no napping during the daytime, decrease caffeine and food after certain hours etc... for right in a minute, don't take medication bc/ you will any sleep too long or wake up sensation like doo doo. If your mind is race - turn your clock around so you can't see it (watching the clock is a no-go) trust me on that one. Also, get rid of adjectives distractions and keep your room shade and cool, but with a blanket if at all possible. Here's what i do when I can't sleep
first, I start from the top of my head and concentrate on making sure my boss is comfortable, then my eyes, ears, proboscis, mouth, neck, shoulders, arms, hand, stomach, hips, butt, legs, feet, toes - from top to bottom and if anything isn't comfortable I adjust. If the brain is still working I picture boxes and set up my thoughts for later use by putting them contained by my "mental boxes" it sounds like I am a retard, but it works everytime. If the thoughts pop spinal column out I just at full tilt place them back within the boxes and this way I touch like I am organized and I can dance to sleep in peace. Then I guess of someone I love humming me a lullaby without words. I haven't ever have to use that one though bc/ the box thing usually does it.

I was a moment ago recently sick next to a fever and the daylight I was recovering I got a full blown disorientation blister. I'm used to getting cold sores regularly and I always filch Valtrex for them which I took yesterday morning and night and I will once again this afternoon that usually make them dissapear quick. The with the sole purpose problem is I work tonight and they might stick me up on the counter and not to mention all the question from my co-workers. I have no impression what to do.
