No they're not related. But both can be cause by genetic.

How can I get my confidence back?

I had quite a hard time in my life about two years ago and I just can't seem to recover from it completely.
I used to be so energetic and full of confidence, now I find myself tired all the time and sort of just fading out. I don't take the time to do my hair and make-up as I used to...I'm basically just finding it really hard to 'get back to normal' does anyone have any advice on how to achieve this?!
Answers:
I had a really hard time few years ago when my boyfriend of 4 years left me. I felt exactly the same way as u r feeling now. I think u should surround yourself with good friends who appreciate u and show u what a nice person u are. Also try something new. Take on some dance classes, climbing course, whatever,. just have some fun! U need to prove yourself u can do whatever u want to do.
U need to think positive as well. try a little trick: every morning when u wake up smile at yourself in the mirror. I always say to myself: hello u stranger its time to wash u! it may be stupid but it helps me to get up and start my day.
And don't forget u need to think about yourself only in good way
go to the doctor, it sounds a bit like depression.
Any time something goes wrong in our lives its normal to take time out and bury yourself away. But it can get routine after a while and you can get in a rut. Start to take the effort to put your face on, do your hair nice, it will make you feel better in yourself and then you will want to look better. Arrange nights out with friends, etc. arrange a holiday with a friend. After a while you will think look at all ive been missing.

Good luck to you.
It'll be hard, but start with making sure you do your hair and make-up, let yourself know you're worth the effort. Excercise helps, as well as just getting out there and engaging with the world. Good luck xx
I'd definitely go to a doctor or counselor. He or she will help you get to the root of the issue and get past it. And if I may, I'll recommend a book to you: 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace by Dr. Wayne Dyer. It's a good read (and a quick one), but it gives great advice, especially about getting past the past.
Good luck and get better!
Try Paul McKenna's "I can give you confidence" book & CD. I found that helpful.

When I was going through the mill, my sister sat me down and said "you look dreadful. Go home, have a bath, do your hair, manicure your nails and put some nice clothes on - the minute you look in the mirror and you are looking better, you will start to feel better". And you know what? She was right.

Also try taking supplements. I take Seretone 5HTP (increases the amount of feel-good seretonin in your brain and controls the release of it - it's the release that makes you feel good), st johns wort (natural anti-depressant), evening primrose oil (hormonal balance) and Vitamin B12 complex (again, hormonal). I started taking these when prescribed anti-depressants because I didn't want to take the medication. All are available in good health food stores, and they have reeeeeally worked wonders for me.

Good luck, I hope it all works out for you. Sometimes if you force yourself to do these things, after a few times you will just be 'back in the swing of it'. And remember, whatever pain you have experienced, you are master of your own destiny, are a truly unique and wonderful person and that life can be great.. If you let it be.

My friend sent me this passage the other day as it reminded him of me... I'd like to pass it on to you:

“As we grow up we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken more than once and it’s harder everytime. You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You’ll fight with your best friend. You’ll blame
a new love for something an old one did. You’ll cry because time is going by too fast. You’ll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you’ve never been hurt because every 60 seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get
back. “

Keep your chin up babe xx
I can relate, I’m in a similar disposition (self conceived however). I believe the way out is jumping headlong into something productive, although standing on the side watching everything pass is just so much more easier.

I’ve took time to focus on what I enjoy, even if you haven’t done it for a while, deep inside there will be something yearning to be looked upon, if you still can’t find anything look around at your local community, perhaps whatever happened two years ago is happening to people now, helping other people with something that you yourself can be a great healing process, it reaffirms the facts that you are no longer in the situation, and you are now ‘free’ of all burdens and you can now provide a positive impact of these peoples lives.

There are lots of clubs and voluntary organisations calling out for help in all areas, it may seem like nothing, but it is getting you out of the dreary routine, meeting people, making friends.

I intend to join the St. Johns Ambulance because I’ll learn something new and help people, I will join my local ladies football team, because I simply enjoy it. I also want to volunteer at some charity shop organisation, whether it is actually interacting with people or behind the scenes sorting out what people donate, I don’t know, but it’ll build confidence.

I did want to join the Territorial Army, extreme I know, but I know what I was searching for with that idea, and that is self-respect and pride, though the TA is just not something I’m cut out for I don’t think.

I’m the only obstacle at the moment.
mabye you have depression? im not sure as i used to be like it but mabye you just need to talk to someone.
Sounds odd - but try not to watch tv,except if it really means something to you, don't just blob in front of it, get to bed by 10, go for fresh airy walks in the daytime and smile at people, smile at the driver who stops when you cross the road, smile at the person in the newsagent. Try to eat well. Try to take the time to do your hair etc. Maybe do some volunteer work, or if you're lucky enough to have a garden, get digging! Rediscover the (beautiful bits of the)world around you. Depending on your diet you may be low in iron, b12 or in folic acid, all of which can leave you feeling tired and drained. Perhaps visit the doctor to check these things.
Try and be nice to yourself - you deserve it after a hard time, try and remember what used to be important to you, maybe reading a good book or a treat like a facial and pamper yourself.
Hope youre feeling happier soon.
i think that you should think about how you used to be...maybe this will help you want to be how you used to. You should write in a journal on how you feel about yourself and maybe you will want the old you back..in no time!
I also had a confidence problem. I tried listening to Paul McKenna (change your life in 7 days avail in most book shops for about £10 - is a book with cd) & I feel so much more confident.
Whenever I need a confidence boost I listen to it, like when I 've got an interview, have exams (so I've been listening to it all week!) etc. I'd normally be feeling so sick & tired by now I know I would be bursting into tears everytime I thought of my exams. I couldn't tell you exactly what's on the cd as I go 'under' within about 5 mins of listening to it!
You could also try taking a little time out for yourself - it definately makes all the difference- spend a good hour taking a bath, put on a face mask, do your hair - it'll make you feel like a millon $'s.
Good luck, I know you get through this :) x
Getting back to normal after any stressful time should be taken slowly and only when you feel ready, taking each day a step at a time. Have you talked to anyone about it, a relative or close confidante? Make time for yourself occasionally, when you can be genuinely at ease. Only do your hair and make-up if it makes 'you' feel better, but not if it's to make others happy, stay in and snuggle on the sofa if it feels good and try again tomorrow. Try not to put high demands on yourself that will leave you feeling deflated if you're unable to reach them. You'll get there when the times right, till then worrying about things may bring you even further down, try relaxation classes, they're helpful and you can meet other people to enhance your social life which could help. PS a little check up at the doctors might be worth a try as you may be anaemic and need a little boost - good luck.
just to gain your confi.. plz try out 1 simple thing vch is to stand infront of your mirror and just try to communicate with yourself ,apply necessary expressions too.dont ever hasitate to answer anyone just try and speak out louder to everyone out there in this world..may be u might b there at the right JACKPOTTT.
I've been in your shoes more than once, so I can relate to how you are feeling right now. You seem to be depressed & may I recommend that you see your family doctor as soon as possible? Sometimes, we all need someone to help us get back on track. Tell him/her how you've been feeling & ask to be put on a mild antidepressant. Lexapro works great for me & for many others. You will not feel like a zombie, I promise you. Within a few weeks or sooner, you will start to feel so much better, especially about yourself. I noticed a difference on the third day. I began taking Lexapro at bedtime, without fail, thinking I'd sleep off any side effects, but to my surprise, I had none. Some do, but nothing earth shattering. It takes away the anxities & makes you feel less depressed or not depressed at all. I'll have a down day once in a while, but that's normal. I know it's hard to get motivated when one is feeling as you are, but in time, you'll feel better about yourself & will gain back your energy, self confidence, etc. As for being tired, that's normal when one is depressed. Once you're on the Lexapro, you'll feel better mentally & it will make you feel better physically as well, which will allow you to get out & walk daily. I say walking, because it's the most normal form of exercise & after a thirty to sixty minute walk, you'll feel so much better. I've come a long way since last August when I began taking the Lexapro (10 mg) & my doctor & family have seen such a big change in me. I wish you well & hope you'll soon be feeling better again. Once you begin feeling so much better, don't look back at how you were feeling, look at how you're feeling today. :)
Stress --> Estrogen Dominance --> "health issues"

http://www.ylcf.org/hormone-imbalance/06...

low energy level is on this list as is low self esteem

As a preliminary do the on line hormone tests at www.hormoneprofile.com or www.johnleemd.com

If as I suspect they recommend you obtain hormones please have a saliva test done see www.npis.info or www.salivatest.com. A saliva test will check out active hormones something that blood tests do not. The only reliable way to check hormone balance is have a saliva test.

http://www.abc2health.com/prog-saliva-no...

The WHO (World Health Organisation) uses saliva tests.

There is a list of doctors at www.npis.info who are aware of the benefits of natural progesterone they may be more helpful than your GP. You are about to educate your GP :-)

search the web for "natural progesterone energy"

e.g.
http://www.progesterone.co.uk/index.cfm?...
or
http://www.safemenopausesolutions.com/na...

Natural progesterone means natural to humans i.e. identical to that produced by the human body.

Any progesterone you buy must be natural progesterone USP. USP means United States Pharmacopoeia. Wild yam is that wild Yam the body will not convert it to progesterone

Do not take fake/patented progesterone/progestins manufactured by the drug companies they will be of NO benefit. (it was probably these components or the patented estrogens of your implant that were causing your side effects)

If a hormone is suggested by the saliva test please take the dose suggested for you. Size 10 shoes are not twice as good if you have size 5 feet.

The menopause book below has sold over half a million copies because it works and women have told other women

I hope this helps

White Spot contained by Throat?

I had swollen tonsils for a while but they get a bit better on their own but today I have a bright white spot on one of them!

It's strange as they don't hurt severely much now but this white spot is pretty big! It doesn't give the impression of being like stuck food or anything as it's bright white (not pale at all) and appears more hard than squishy, could it be tonsillitis/strep throat or could it only just be allergies or something?

G6pd less?

Answers:
G6pd= glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase
this is an enzyme of the hemoglobin contents.
it's deficiency lead to favism which is a type of anemia in which u suffer from low content of adjectives blood cells especially red ones due to their destruction.
this happen when u eat bean and it may be severely serious because if ur Rbc's drops a lot afterwards u will start have troubles breathing due to reduce oxygen concentration in ur blood...
it vehicle you are deficient within an enzyme called glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase

G6PD is needed to convert Glucose-6-phosphate to 6-phosphogluconolactone w/c produces NADPH. NADPH is needed within the conversion of oxidized glutathione to reduced glutathione. The reduced glutathione is needed for detoxification of free radicals contained by our body. We all know that these free radical are harmful to our cell.

To make you follow better, if you have less in G6PD, within will be no hexose monophosphate shunt w/c produces NADPH, thus no reduced glutathione (w/c is an anti-oxidant).

Decrease in Glutathione will increase free-radicals such as H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) w/c can affect the RBC and increase hemolysis, thus can also grounds hemolytic anemia secondary to G6PD defect

Tablet drinking problem?>?

u know, i have a shock whenever im drinking really slightly big tablets (medicine)...maybe because i have this experience when the tablet got stuck surrounded by my throat and i cant breathe for a while...now i hafta drink an antibiotic tablet and its my dilemma! i turned out chopping the tablet into fundamentally fine pieces and drikning it and it tastes awful!

have anyone of you experienced the same piece? how can i help myself??
Answers:
Well,...yes.I have this problem when I was a kid.Not anymore.

U can overcome this by simply overcoming ur foreboding and by simply drinking the pill or tablet...after the 3rd or 4th tablet the problem will be no more...But just drink it...(drink seriously of water beside it).

To crush the pills is not a soloution. This is avoiding the problem,..and by this ...u r just making it grow bigger!

And put surrounded by mind that it will never ...I repeat...never get stuck or something...that will a moment ago never happen...bcs when u drink or devour the respiratory tract closes firmly so that the food/water passes to ur stomach and not close in ur lungs...So,...anatomically speaking ,...I assure u that it is immposible to procure stuck .and what happened to u up to that time was lately the pill/tablet moving slower than usual in ur pharynx...but u prominently paniced!!
tell your dr/there r liqiud antibiotics/some meds r not expected to be crushed/or if no other solution/ and able to crush achieve pill crusher /mix with applesauce/
You can buy a pill crusher. they are brilliant. vitally iy grings the tablet into a tiny amount of powder which then you can put on a spoon and swallow near a drink. you can get them on e-bay or from your local chemist and they are pretty cheap to buy too
Crashing the pill is not a solution cause at some point you may hold to take a medication with juice content which of course can't be crashed and after what will you do?
I had like problem cause I choked once as a child.
What I do presently is get the pill surrounded by my mouth, take a big sip of dampen, and swallow the water short thinking of the pill.
It's mainly psycological,so the singular solution is to take your mind bad it.
After the first couple of times you'll see it works and then you won't hold to worry anymore nearly it:-)

My throat hurts really unpromising.?

Ok so it's thursday now and my throat have been hurting since sunday morning. What should I do? I've asked my mom to stir to the doctor but our insurance is horrible and I don't want to make her wage for it. I'm trying to play it off approaching it doesn't hurt but I'm almost in tears because it's so doomed to failure. I don't have a frenzy but it almost feels approaching I have a chip stuck surrounded by the left side surrounded by the very rear legs of my throat. What should I do?

Oh and I can't do the saltwater thing because it make me gag.

Thanks for the help!
