Hunzas (Himalayan Mountains)?

Are the Hunzas people legitimate? Is it true that they don't get any of the diseases the rest of the world have? Is there an explanation for that?
Answers:
In India during the 1920s, British researcher Sir Robert McCarrison conducted one of the most eye-opening experiments relative to the correlation between diet and robustness. Dr. McCarrison spent many years contained by the Himalayan Mountains including the picturesque Hunza Valley. This magical fairytale-like place is found between the borders of China, India, Pakistan and Russia at nearly 8000 ft. The natives of this valley, the Hunzakuts, capture Dr. McCarrison's attention because of the their excellent health and extremely long lifespan.

"In these Himalayan Mountains is Hunza; a country slightly more than a hundred miles long and possibly just as all-embracing, containing approximately thirty thousand inhabitants," writes Dr. Jay F. Hoffman, the author of the book Hunza - Secrets Of The World's Healthiest And Oldest Living People, published in 1960. Dr. Hoffman be sent to Hunza under the auspices of the National Geriatrics Society.

"Here the family lived to be 100, 110, 120, and occasionally as much as 140 years of age. Here lies the real Fountain of Youth - probably the just one in the world… Hunza landscape is truly a Utopia if ever there be one. Just think of this! Here is a lands where ancestors do not have our adjectives diseases, such as heart ailments, cancer, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, tuberculosis, hay disorientation, asthma, liver trouble, gall bladder trouble, constipation or plentiful other ailments the plague the rest of the world. Moreover, there are no hospitals, no insane asylums, no drug stores, no saloons, no tobacco stores, no police, no jail, no crimes, no murders, and no beggars."2

Any westerner who stepped foot on the tiny land of this friendly nation couldn't stop raving in the order of their good moral fibre, outstanding hospitality, not to mention the physical strength and stamina of their men. " My own experience provides an example of a race unsurpassed contained by perfection of physique and in freedom from disease contained by general." Wrote Dr. McCarrison around the Hunzkuts. "Amongst these people the span of vivacity is extraordinarily long… During the period of my association near these people I never saw a overnight case of asthenic dyspepsia, of gastric or duodenal ulcer, of appendicitis, of mucous colitis, of cancer."3

Not just are the Hunza people immune to serious diseases they are also spared the discomfort of commonplace conditions such as the cold or the flu. Dr. McCarrison, who specialized within nutritional diseases, was determined to revise their secret. The opportunity arose within 1927 when he was appointed the Director of Nutrition Research surrounded by India. Along with his designation he also received a well-equipped laboratory and qualified assistants.

The Doctor designed a complete series of experiments to determine how big of a role the Hunzakuts' diet plays in their supreme form and longevity. In the first experiment 1189 albino rats were feed the Hunza diet right from birth. This consisted of whole banquet flatbread with a pat of fresh butter, sprouted legumes, fresh rare carrots and cabbage, unboiled undamaged milk, and once a week a tiny portion of meat and bones. Plenty of water be provided for drinking and bathing. The only item the rats did not receive was fruit, which the Hunza general public ate a great deal of.

Yes they are indisputable and I have lived essential them, and never had any syndrome. I had the best condition then. However the contentment and simplicity of their lives cannot be feel by ordinary relatives. To attain their kind of atittude you would enjoy to be born there.
Life expectancy within Hunza valley is much more than rest of the Indian subcontinent. This is a proof that those of that particular region are improved. Life style, diet, clean dampen and clean nouns could be one of the reasons.

How can I attain rid of a big blister on my foot?

I have a blister on respectively foot from a bad set of two of shoes. The blister is about 2 inches long OUCH! any suggestions?
Answers:
Have someone (preferably a medical professional) pierce the blister beside a needle, apply an antiseptic, later wrap a bandage around it. You should be fine, but it would be smart to find a contemporary pair of shoes.
Lance it and apply an antiseptic cream
I'm not a medical professional but when I burst blisters they hurt really doomed to failure. I try not to burst them and they eventually just walk down and then the excess skin flakes rotten. If it has bursted and it burns, slice a potato contained by half and verbs out some of the center with a spoon. Put a big blod of potato guts on the blister and wrap it beside a paper towel. This will transport the burn feeling out of it. It works I swear!! A burn spray or antisceptic cream would probably be a correct idea too.
First of adjectives wash your foot where the blister is. Get a nozzle, kill adjectives the germs on it by passing it through a flame. You must use a plunger because a saftey pin and a straight pin has a brass tip on it. Brass could supply you blood poision. A sewing needle is made of stainless steel. Take the plunger and slowly poke through, just underneath the skin roughly speaking 1/4"away from the blister, coming up inside the bubble.
Take the needle out. Now press slowly the soft from the blister. Be careful NOT to bust the blister by tear a hole in the outer skin. The nouns is what causes a blister to burn and hurt. The nouns is drying out the under lieing skin. As long as the outer skin is surrounded by tact any germs and infection will stay out of the damaged skin underneath. The skin is the best strip aid you can use. You might need to do this several time, as the plunger hole will, more than likely close. In a few days the blister will treat by growing new outer skin while the out-of-date skin is covering the blister. Do not wear the shoes that caused the blister unless you go and get them stretched. Put a band-aid over the sore while all this is adjectives.

I construe you need to see a M.D. preferably a ENT specialist,ASAP
It sounds as though your sinus lining are swollen. This can happen because of bad health, but it can also happen due to allergies. I suggest getting an over-the-counter allergy medication and taking it; if you can get hold of one with a decongestant, it will probably also comfort.
Ask to be referred to ENT

i wanna know EXACTLY why smimming makes you hungry dont describe me because you burn more calories or because the water is cold i wanna know why and how it affects you
Answers:
Swimming is an hobby that uses many muscle groups at once. Unlike other types of exercise that focus on a extraordinary group of muscles. This causes the body to use more punch. Energy is supplied to the body through food intake.
your using up enrgy which makes you hungry.
swimming is a full-body workout. Olympic swimmers are on a 9000 calorie diet. And they are skinny as can be.
My hunger creeps up on me progresively regardless of wether I'm swimming, cycling, walking or kayaking. I can even receive hungry watching TV, although that does take like mad of concentration.
To get more accurate information, why not right to be heard for how long you swim and how often.
Well, nearby are a couple of reasons. As your body burns calories (yeah, yeah, you said not to say-so this, but I'm not sure what you want from me) your brain senses that there is a insufficiency of nutrition, and seeks to overrun that void.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the reason you touch hungry after excercising in cold hose down is that your body needs to expend vivacity, and therefore calories, on keeping you melt. As above, your body senses the lack of nutrition and availible verve so has you chomp through.

I hold a unyielding lump within my nouns in the order of a partly inch away from a mole, what could this be?

It is on the left side of my d¨¦colletage, halfway between my shoulder and ear, and something like a half an inch down the ear. It feels resembling it is the size of a marble, and I can move it around a little. It hurts a moment or two to touch, and my jaw hurt when I unfold it.

I haven't had a cold contained by about a year - so it couldn't be from man sick.

I normally wouldn't be *too* concerned next to it, but like I said, it is a partly inch away from a mole.

When I was younger I have a mole removed because they thought it was cancerous. This mole hasn't changed colors however - but I worry profusely.

I don't have insurance so I want to research this as much as I can earlier I resort to going to my doctor.

Any help would be great!
Answers:
Sounds similar to a swollen gland (lymph node). They exist in clumps, and in that is a chain right within the area you describe. They can swell when you own been exposed to an ailment, and your body is fighting it bad, even if you haven't become symptomatic or "come down" with the bug itself. Still, if you are concerned, or if the lump is hard or doesn't move at adjectives, or is really painful or grows against the clock, it is best to have it checked out.

Good luck,
Julie
conceivably you have some generous of infection and its just an inflamed lymph node. that happen to me all i took be antibiotics... and it went away. run to a doctor.
It could just be a swollen gland that some antibiotics would clear but it also could be more serious. You should turn to the doctor, dont put this off.
very well it could be anything. maybe you didn't drink adequate water. or I don`t know other thing.. i strongly recommand you to dance see a doctor for your own safety. devout luck.
It doesn't matter what *I* mull over it is. You're worried, and that's all the source you need to run to the doctor. If you can't afford to go, next go to the ER; it's not the just the thing solution, but it will do the job.
Most lumps are not cancerous but are startling, but all lumps should be examined by a competent physician. The mole is untouched so it may be unrelated. No insurance does makes it difficult. Tell the doctor you haven't insurance and ask if they hold a "self-pay" rate (uninsured patients will be charged a little less). Be prepared to reward for the visit at the time of the call on, however.

If recommended by the doctor, MRIs or CATs to examine the lump is another matter. When near the doctor ask if he can direct you to an organization that will facilitate underwrite the tests if mandatory. Don't delay, it may be something simple, you'll accumulate yourself worry and be thankful. Good Luck.

Bit by a hulking black ant next to wing, support?

One of my friends got bit by a big, black ant with wing, not too long ago. Are they poisonous? Protocol? help please!
Answers:
Dry the bite out as much as you can--with alcohol, tea tree oil--just to autograph a few! You should be fine, don't freak out!! They are not poisonous, I be bitten by one of those before.
I dont dream up it was an ant if it have wings, you should read books more or less it or ask a doctor in casing they are poisonous so you can get your friend serve before it is to slowly. If there is a over-hasty around the bite, then most potential it is, or if there is swelling or anything unusual around the way the skin around the bite looks.
It is possible that this be a carpenter ant. They can be huge ants and some of them have wing! When they bite it can hurt horribly but unless you have an allergic allergic reaction to it shouldn't cause any problems.
It be just a manly ant. im pretty sure nothing will evolve unless your alergic.

Try a different pillow. If your head is really cosy, it help you to sleep better. When we go on holidays, we other take our own pillows. It works, even if the bed is not vastly comfortable.
First, talk to your parents and stir see your doctor. If for some reason you can't confer to your parents, talk to your college counselor.
i am 15 and that happens to me also. in that is this natural pill call melatonin. it enhances the amount that your body already make making you sleep. take two 3mg pills one hour past you go to bed.
Are you napping during the year? Are you going to sleep when you are not tired? You need to practice on form sleep hygiene (yes...that is if truth be told what it is called) by going to bed at approximately the same time respectively night, avoiding caffeine after Noon (12pm), getting up approximately like peas in a pod time each daytime (even on your day off/Sat/Sun...ugh!), don't dance to sleep too full or too hungry, and check your pillows/mattress/linens/bedclo... make sure they are adjectives in fitting shape and CLEAN/well aired; leave a pane cracked if weather and safety receipt. I use over the counter sleep aids (just plain old Walgreens brand) and they work better for me than Ambien; if you are 14, ask your doctor first since taking this but it probably would be OK to just pocket 1/2 the dose and see what happens and ONLY AT BEDTIME! Again, I am not a doctor; so do this at your own risk. If you try to do adjectives this stuff - and I know it's a lot - and are still have trouble with wakefullness, see your doctor. It could be due to an underlying issue, such as anxiety or depression or stress. Good luck!

There are contacts for simply about every eye problem. You can capture contacts at Wal-Mart. They can check your eyes too. Good luck
Of course they do. I am far sighted and have worn contacts for 20 years. Buy em anywhere. Well anywhere they provide contacts.
Yes!
The doctor could make one contact for up close and one for far away, but believe me they equal out, and its not rock-hard to get use to.
Well, depending on how hoary you are and how bad you want to see right, to be precise with or in need corrective lenses... you have two option. Number one is contacts which work for either to hand or farsighted people (yes they hold both at any store) or number two depending on if you want to spend the money one time and never worry something like it again, I did, you can get surgery to correct your reverie. One draw back to the surgery, the cost. Other than the cost it is something that I enjoy loved for a long time now. I be nearsighted, paid for the surgery, and haven't have a problem since. I would get beside your doctor and find out more info on this and they can tell you better what the surgery involves.
