Sick Guinea Pig--I bought a guinea pig more or less 3 weeks ago, a week after I bought it she started have?
problems breathing n made a congestion-like noise whenever she would breath. I took her to da vet and he said she have a pulmonary infection and gave her a shot and some antibiotics for 3 days. the 3 days go by and I ran out of drug and she wasnt better, so I took her again. This time he gave her 2 antibiotics one for 7 days and the other one for 21. 4 days go by and she seemed to own recovered until 3 days later she started have even more trouble breathing and making da noise again so I took her again and the dr. give her a shot. he said dat guinea pigs have a dogmatic range of antibiotics and that he be running out of options, that if these didnt work consequently he'd take an xray to see if it be fungus in her lungs. I demur to believe this is everything he can do and that there is nought elese that can be done, after all his substandard attempts Im also doubting about how moral of a vet he really is.If anyone knows if this is true or if within is nething dat could work plz let me knoAnswers:
It's give or take a few costs and benefits. I know it isn't about costs and benefits for you because you clearly love your guinea pig and want to fix her up.
The Vet DOES have other things they could do - they could use different or stronger antibiotics (if indeed it is an infection) or you might be capable of bring the guinea pig to the vet for regular injections. But all of this costs like mad of time and money. You probably would do better to buy another guinea pig (I know that's not what you want to do).
If your guinea pig has get a fungus infection in her lungs it is grimmer still. This would stingy that her immune system to be able to clash disease is poor (and it might explain the recurring infections).

In the later few years I've had this stomach-ache right above my left breast. I don't know if that's your breast bone or ribs. It's not on the side of my body simply right above my heart.

Funny isnt it. I smoked cigarettes for years in my behind teens/early 20's and gave it away after our first newborn was born. It is a retarded mannerism. I have no opinion why I was so stupid. My father surrounded by law smoked fo r40 years and is very soon tethered to an oxegen machine. he can singular walk as far as his plastic oxegen tube will agree to him.. but in actuality he can't walk more than 10m minus a rest anyway. He plans every breath that he takes. Imagine have to think give or take a few breathing. Be very glad you feel disgusted.
My stomach is hurting so discouraging when I munch through?
It began a few days ago after a weekend of treating myself. A bit overeating but not tons. My stomach purely began hurting one morning, close to my stomach had 30 pounds of food inside me and it be pushing against my insides, ribs, etc. It's a constant pain where on earth my stomach meets my chest, next to occassional spasms in the rest of my stomach, especially when moving, breathing overwhelmingly or belching, which I seem to be doing adequate of.I haven't overeaten since it began (Saturday hours of darkness and today is Wednesday) and yesterday I barely ate or drank anything, I couldn't because of the headache. It's not hurting nearly as bad as it be when if first start, but it's still near just about unbearable. Anyone hold any clues as to what it could be? I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow if the pain is still going on.
