Health Question

How do I convince my mom to allow me hold a Hookah.?

First of all I am 18 and I do live near my mom. I asked her if I could get a hookah and she say no because she thinks a hookah is used to smoke marijuana and not tobacco.

What should I do to convince her to allow me to use one within the house?
Answers:
I know you probably won't even read this BUT here goes:

Sorry but as a mother of an almost 16 year ripened my
first and automatic reaction to your press was
WHAT?? Are you on drugs!!!
Your mom grew up surrounded by a time when they were predominantly
(actually I should say-so always) used to smoke hash. And I
would tend to believe that YOU also want it for that and not smoking tobacco, you wanna smoke tobacco get a pipe, cigarettes etc you don't obligation a hookah pipe.
Stop trying to pull moms leg, she wasn't born yesterday.
If you be my kid 18 or not, you wouldn't even be smoking cigarettes in the house permit alone using a hookah, tobacco or not.
Stop fooling yourself and your poor mom and show some respect for her and HER home. When you move out and have your own place you can do what ever you deem called for there, BUT NOT at moms place. OK, be a man
and make a contribution her respect for her wishes.
Invite her to a hookah lounge and let her experience it first-hand (joking).
Tell her I'll do it within the garage or out back. Kids on campus do it adjectives the time on the lawn.
because any sort of smoking is unpromising for your health.. Why on land would you want to force a foreign smoke substance down into your precious lungs which are made to process oxygen for the life force of your blood... Go ahead and suck down adjectives that polution,, one less individual on the earth the overpopulation have to deal near.. might as well commit suicide to speed up the process...
source: have to endure a complete years worth of watching my grandfather fade away from lung cancer, not a pretty verbs..
Stop kidding yourself, Nobody smokes tobacco out of a hookah anymore. You are going to use it for the reefer. My suggestion is dawdle until you move out of mommy's house. By the way, update her I said hi.
Are you actually using it to smoke tobacco?Somehow I'm have a hard time believing that one myself. Maybe you should lurk to have one until you own your own apartment.
moms house moms rules and besides honestly a hooka is designed for smoking pot get a living move out and do what the hell you want. when you have your own place you'll own your rules and understand where on earth your mom is comming from
1 a hookah is for smoking pot you ever tried to smoke tobacco from a hookah before not worthy 2 if you arent planning to smoke pot out of it theres something wrong with you melon self use it as a vase previously id try to smoke tobacco out of it
I've see plenty of people using them for tobacco, it cools and filter the smoke, so you inhale less detrimental materials, while still being competent to enjoy a apt smoke.
1. Find one that is a pretty piece of artwork, not just some cup thrown together POS
2. A hookah isnt made to smoke pot, its made to smoke either hash(yes here is a difference, hash is a hard brick of extract), or tobacco
3. Do you smoke tobacco regularly? and does your mom know that you do? If not, there's exactly why she wont consent to you...

My wife's doctor ordered an expensive exam and the lab is charging me. What should I do?

So my lovely wife went contained by for a regular pap and physical. A couple months later, lacking having received any report of the results, I acquire an invoive from the lab (LabCorp) that did the work for about $300.

I ring up my insurance company (Aetna) and they say it's a newer more expensive pap experiment, that they don't cover and they're not sure why they would have ordered it.

I ring up LabCorp and they say pretty much one and the same thing.

When I articulate to the doctor, she says that it's my responsibility to know what my insurance covers and what it doesn't. But I thought it be reasonable to assume that the doc would run a regular pap and it would be covered.

SOooo, presently I'm stuck and I don't know what to do. I don't want to pay $300 for what should hold been a usual routine exam. Shouldn't the doctor have informed my wife and I that this would be a more expensive/thorought/whatever interview and might not be covered?

It's stuff like this that be paid people afraid to turn to the doctor...*sigh*
Answers:
Yes the doctor should have explained to your wife that's theres up to date tests they do near pap smears and it is more expensive. As far as the statement that it's your responsibility to know what your insurance will and willnot cover is not entirely true. With it being a exotic test the doctor should know that most insurances will not cover it and share you what type of test it is and offer you the option to beckon your insurance first to see if it is covered and if not what your option are. You can fight this. Call your insurance company and explain to them that the doctor did not make available your wife the facts and you want to contest the relevance of the test. Let the insurance company walk after the doctor for explainations as to why she ordered that test and see if they don't deny paying it and next she's out the money. The doctor probably has some accord with the lab and she's making extra money sour of this. Fight her.
Talk to your insurance company more. If the insurance didn't cover it, the lab had a responsbility to inform you. Fight this to the end--my insurance denied my epidural after I have an emergency c-section after 24 hours of labor.

See if you can talk them down. Sometimes you can agree to retribution for half of it.

I don't believe it's the doctor's responsibilty to alert you unless the examination is covered by VERY few insurance companies.

When I had to enjoy a 24-hour urine sample tested, the lab call to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover the $500 theory test. Even though the doctor ordered it from that lab, I had to perform in a lab that WOULD be covered by within insurance.
Your Dr should have given you check options beside explanations and your Dr's office should hold checked with your insurance company to see what test are covered and which aren't. (That's not up to you to know. You're not the medical expert.)
When you go to a restaurant, if they bring you an expensive steak instead of your baja turkey wrap, do you wage for the $25.00 steak? Hell no! If you didn't order the special, you don't salary for the special. Tell them you ordered the baja turkey!
do you love your wife? do you want to be sure she doesn't have cervical cancer? consequently cough up the $300, you cheap bastard.

bet you'll read your insurance policy more carefully subsequent time, won't you? you got past its sell-by date lightly this time...
Be indebted that it was merely $300.00. I hate to say-so it, but it was an expensive lesson to revise. In my experience, doctors have call to see if my insurance covers procedures. Evidentially your wifes doctor doesn't do it.

Next time either send for your insurance company yourself, or ask your doctors office to do it. Hell, to be exact what you pay for!

Good Luck
I don't know if you enjoy any rights, legally. It sucks, and I don't know what you can do something like it. At least you will know so it doesn't evolve again in the adjectives. It's crap like that that make us label insurance companies as "thieves". It seem like adjectives they ever do is try to screw people. And it be pretty sucky of your wife's dr. not to tell her the insurance company might not cover it. I didn't even know near was a contemporary kind of pap. Maybe the answer here is to attain a new dr.
the doctor should hold, in the most minuscule, advised that this be a new pap and not adjectives insurances cover them!!! it is the doctors or doctors office place to notify your wife of any change anyways!!! if this were a unknown pap test, be she told that this is what she was reception???

ask a few more questions. contained by the very tiniest the doctor should give you a discount due to the mix-up!!!
appropriate care!!
don't thieve no for an answer. call aetna and ask for the claim to be reopened. ask for a supervisor and relay them that you don't question what your doctor asks for and that you didn't even know this be any different type of lab work than usual. check with your state, most of the insurance industry is regulated and they don't close to complaints lodged against them.
?
Yes, the doctor should have be aware that this was a newer, more expensive experiment, and given you a chance to find out if it be covered by your insurance. Not telling you be an error on her part. How would you know to even ask if you weren't told they be doing that sort of test? The doctor's reply didn't clear any sense, and seems similar to a brush-off. You are completely correct in this casing. I recommend getting a different doctor, and explaining to the doctor why you're firing her. That was awful forgiving care!

This is truly not an insurance issue. The lab did the test the doctor ordered. They file the insurance, and it wasn't covered. The insurance wasn't doing anything wrong in not paying ... it is completely the doctor's quirk in not informing you that the try-out was latest and possibly not covered. We caution our patients every time we decree an expensive test or procedure that may not be covered by insurance. It's the doctor's responsibility to inform you ahead of time. If the lab is billing you, there's not much you can do. If the doctor's department is billing for the lab, you might be able brand a complaint to the office administrator and work out a reduced expense.

In response to comments below about signing agreements to settle up ... Most doctor's offices own the patient sign an authorization to folder insurance, which also includes an agreement to pay doesn`t matter what costs are not covered by insurance. This is a standard part of the registration process. I'm sure within was a form signed along next to the new tolerant paperwork before your wife be even seen for the first time.
You're stuck. It really isn't the lab's bad habit, because they rely on the physician to make sure you're okay informed.

For future insinuation, always, other, ALWAYS call the location where on earth the test will be perform BEFORE the test date, and pick up the procedure code (HCPCS Code) they are going to use to bill for the test, and also make a purchase of the ICD-9 diagnosis code. Call your insurance company with the code, and find out if and how much of it will be covered. THEN, at the time of the appointment, ask the billing personage to put in writing the estimated long-suffering responsibility. The office does, and don't agree to them tell you otherwise, verify eligibility and benefits prior to the experiment being perform, so they do have this information.

It be bad practice of them to mislead you, but there's nought you can do about it presently, unfortunately. It is possible that you can transport a written dispute to the lab, and they will reverse charges to the physician who performed the theory test. I'd fire the physician, too. He or she already knows surrounded by advance that insurance companies will veto to pay for test that rule out something, without first performing a lower costing alternative and standard examination. For example, If he or she "thinks" a woman may be pregnant, they don't automatically order an ultrasound unless the urine experiment, and then a blood trial, both come back unenthusiastic, while all along, the woman is still showing unconcealed signs of pregnancy.
Next time call up the number on the final of the card to make sure the company does not overcharge you.
I would contact a advocate and refuse to pay cheque until I heard from him.

If your wife go to the doctor and used a health insurance plan after the doctor is responsible for treating the patient next to treatments that are approved by that health insurance. If the form insurance plan doesn't cover that expense then it is the duty of the doctor to inform the long-suffering and make them sign a consent form saw that they were duly informed and will assume the responsibility for allowance.

So ask you wife what she signed and for a copy of every form that she signed, read them and then contact a attorney to see if I am correct or not. Rules vary next to the insurance plans, but I think that the doctor made a mistake and he doesn't want to hold your attention the costs. Regardless of the outcome you should complain to your health charge plan, first for not covering the test and second for allowing a doctor to overhaul on the cost to you without your comprehension (assuming that your lovely wife didn't sign a consent form agreeing to pay).

The doctor is right that you enjoy a responsibility to know what your insurance plan covers, but if the test is untried, then it wouldn't enjoy been included on the document of things that your insurance company covers so it is his responsibility to inform you. Propose that theory to the legal representative and see what he or she thinks.
Ask the Dr. to show you where on earth they advised you of the more expensive, extensive, thorough carrying out tests they were order...ask them to provide your signature agreeing to the testing next let them know that you do not discern obligated to pay for something that they lead you to believe would be an everyday pap test. Speak near an attorney and let the Dr. know you are doing so. They are predictable not going to go through adjectives that for $300. Then contact labcorp and let them know like thing.
Unfortunately they are right within a really small way...you are responsible to know what your insurance cover and what is not HOWEVER, how are you supposed to choose not to enjoy a particular procedure or theory test done if you are never informed of the type of test from the greatly beginning?
I would contact the insurance company and the billing agency again. Most insurance companies hold an agreement with doctors on procedures, specifically, how much they can charge and how much the company will pay. It's really a big scam as if you don't own insurance, you're really paying out the other end. I suspect that do that to incline the cost of treatment to those uninsured so much that they can take them bad their taxes or claim it to medicaid.

You aren't a doctor or an insurance adjuster, how are you supposed to know whether each procedure the doctor directives is covered without taking a policy around beside you or calling the insurance company every thirty minutes. And even then, I bet you'd draw from wrong answers half the time.

If you remuneration it, I'd pay it 10 bucks a month for however long it take.

Does have a Medicare HMOs really imply you administer up your Medicare Part B benefits?

My grandparents are getting bills from a doctor's office wise saying that my grandparents no longer have Medicare benefits since they hold a Senior HMO. By having a Medicare HMO, the doctor's organization is saying that my grandparents enjoy gaveup their Medicare benefits. Is this true?

Answers:
Your grandparents are still on Medicare. A Medicare HMO is an HMO that has contracted near the federal government underneath the Medicare Advantage program (formerly called Medicare+ Choice) to provide robustness benefits to persons eligible for Medicare that choose to enroll contained by the HMO, instead of receiving their benefits and assistance through the traditional fee for service Medicare program.

They are acceptance bills from their doctor probably because that doctor is not part of the HMO they tied.

There is an organization call the Medicare Rights Center. According to them, a Medicare HMO will only tolerate you see certain doctors or hospitals inside your area unless you own an emergency. These doctors and hospitals are part of what is call the HMO’s network. You must choose a primary protection physician (PCP) from the network. That doctor decide when you can see a specialist.

You can get adjectives your Medicare benefits, including drug coverage, through a Medicare HMO. Medicare HMOs must cover the same kind of care that Original Medicare covers, but they opt when you need it. They may also volunteer additional benefits resembling:

Dental care
Eyeglasses and nightmare care
Hearing aids
Physical exams

Starting surrounded by 2006 you will be limited surrounded by the number of times and when you can switch HMOs or go rear to Original Medicare. You are only allowed to form one Medicare health plan change–either to a private Medicare condition plan or to Original Medicare–from January 1 through June 31, 2006. From July through the remainder of the year, you will be "locked in" to whatever condition plan you chose. You can change your test for the following year (coverage to start January 1) between November 15 and December 31 of every year.

If you wish to return to Original Medicare, describe your HMO or your local Social Security office *in writing* that you want to give up your job and return to Original Medicare. Keep a copy of your letter for yourself. You will be stern in Original Medicare one to two months after you disenroll.

To switch to another Medicare HMO, lately sign up. You will be automatically disenrolled from your current HMO when your new coverage begin. You should check with your up to date HMO to find out when coverage begins.

I hope this is supportive. Check out the link below.
Ithink so, as Medicare is more resembling Medi-scare sometimes. but I do know that if you have a Medicare HMO, that it's not like as Medicare part B.
Unfortunately when family sign up for these things, they are not told about the differences.
I own a patient w/ a Medicare HMO that did not pay envelope for any of her care as I am not contained by that network. so she get stuck with the entire bill.
Had she simply had plain matured Medicare, it would have be covered & she would have lone had to reward $7.14 per visit.
This may be the grip with your grandparents.
Have them move about to the local place where they initially signed up for Medicare & ask in the region of the differences & perhaps they can procure off the HMO & rear legs on Part B- maybe they thought they be saving money, but if they are going to profusely of doctors who are not in the HMO, and it costs them more within the end, it may be worth going hindmost to a regular Medicare plan.

They (or you or your parents) could also call the customer service phone number on the HMO card--- be warn you will probably be on hold for a while, and make sure you document who you agree to.
Keep records of this. It may clutch a few phone calls to digit it out.

Why am I other so thirsty?

I drink tea all the time, because approaching most people I want caffiene to function semi-normally, but I will literally drink a gallon of tea in sometime. Is this normal?
Answers:
Do you whip any medications? Some side effects include dry mouth, increased thirst. You should look into that.

Also diabetics hold increased thirst.

If you are very stirring, your body might just want more fluids.
Because you must drink WATER if you are thirsty... not tea ;-)
Tea can make you more thirsty, the tanins come across to dry you out. Its also a diuretic so you will need to pee abundantly too.
I suggest drinking at least 2 litres of dampen a day, and own decaffinated tea. it doesn't taste much different and will also sustain the fight against cellulite!
Just want to donate, once you are peeing regularly and it is clear in colour later you are re-hydrated. If it is still radioactive looking then you stipulation to drink more. If you are in a hot climate or an nouns conditioned room, you will drink lots more and this is perfectly middle-of-the-road.
each person's ordinary is different. here the past 3 weeks i've be eating one to two partly gallons of Edy's rocky road ice cream a daytime, is that normal, not for me. any road, is it the caffeine boost you are truly looking for or real true thirst. if your truly thirsty, cut out sugar and cafffeine only drink 8 (8 oz) of water .after that the rest is all right, just tea. when u are drinking that much tea contained by a day, especially if its sweet u, are simply throwing your bod into diabetuic mode
Tea has caffeine...caffiene is dehyrdrant.

You can drink a gallon a tea a time...sure it has hose down, but you're drinking a ton of caffiene too.

You're dehydrated.

Also, know that frequent, insatiable thirst is also symptomatic of diabetes.
I drink 3-4 litres of hose a day, as very well as a litre of tea, and one (20 oz) cup of coffee. In the summer I drink 1-2 litres more water. I am not diabetic, and I own always drank this much sea (I don't drink anything other than dampen, tea and coffee). So it may not mean a robustness problem. I do take meds that increase thirst, but haven't other.

Anyway, I would suggest a physical to rule possible health problems out. If you are other thirsty even with drinking that much, consequently I would talk to a doctor roughly speaking it, just to be not dangerous, and to get his/her warning.
you are diabetic. see a doctor.
according to discovery health, nearby may be an underlying problem or no problem at all. you should still ask a doctor. some things to consider are: is this unusuall for you? if, how long do you recall have this thirst? are you very moving? do you have a physical available job? are you this thirsty in adjectives weather? what kind of climate do you live contained by?

caffeine increases thirst (personal knowledge). so the more caffeine you consume, the thirstier you will be. my husband use to have equal problem. he also drank a gallon a day. i finally convinced him to cut out the majority of the tea and drink some hose. his thirst issue was resolved. but that doesn't penny-pinching that that is the suitcase with you. see your doctor, and if he give you a clean bill of form, cut your caffeine consumption way down and drink more hose, see if that works.

How can i gross my butt fuller and rounder in need surgery?

im looking for the traditional "getto booty" the kind where on earth your back is straight and afterwards BAM the booty
Answers:
You could do the 1 and 3 answers and then wear jeans that hold back pockets near buttons and flaps, does make it look fuller.
Work out more, build up your "butt" muscles. There are lots of well brought-up exercises.
Eat 4 double cheese burgers from mcdees and a pound of chocolate. That should do it in a few weeks.
exercise, firm it up and append some muscle.
Well, all of my buddies prefer their wives to be going on for 90 lbs. Apparently they like the look of a 13 yr feeble boy.

Myself, I prefer a girl with for a time curvage. I would say catch a desk job, don't work your butt muscles too much, that will simply make it tighter and smaller amount full. And McD's can help near the rest.

What's cause this ear problem?

I lost a lot of mass a few years ago, and ever since then I sometimes own a problem with my ears. It's similar to I can hear my own voice amplified through my ears from the inside, and it makes it thorny for me to speak clearly because it's so loud in my ears. I can even hear my breathing through my ears.

Eating something usually help. I'm not as small as I was when I lost the shipment (had a baby since next!) and I'm not losing weight - I'm staying around duplicate.

I've never heard of anyone else have this, so if you have any perception what this is PLEASE let me know. I know I could turn to a doctor but I don't think it's serious and a doctor probably couldn't fix it anyway. It's only very annoying!

Your Eustachian tube is blocked. The et tube go from the back of your trunk to your ear. When it's blocked and can't open it will breed it sound close to you are in a tub. When your Eustachian tube opens(like when you yawn or when you eat) it lets a small out of O2 contained by there and let fluid out. You could use afrin but only for 3 to 4 days. Afrin is addictive and if you use it alot you could receive a rebound effect and after you're in trouble. You can develop allergies at any time and I'll bet that's what you've get. Is your nose stuffy? Call an Ear Nose and Throat doc, they can provide you a nose spray that will work and won't be addictive.
I would say aloud it doesn't have anything to do near you loosing wait but I would perversely have it checked out by a Dr.
its any something in your eardrum or innner ear strait. you should see you doctor because he can prescribe ear drops to fix your problem. it has nil to do with the consignment you lost or having a child
You "sometimes" enjoy this problem? The echoing could be fluid in your ear which can be cause by a lot of different things. Could it be related to colds/allergies? Perhaps an allergy to a type of food that you just eat once contained by a while or something that is blooming simply once in a while?
If its fluid surrounded by your ear caused by an allergy a decongestant might assist, as well as taking a Benydryl (which will relieve with an allergic sensitivity but can cause drowsiness) to see if that help the problem.
Do you swim? Or wash your tresses in the tub? Could your ear be filling near water and next not draining immediately so that you own the echoing for a while?
Just some thoughts. A doctor will be able to look inside your ear and evaluate the condition of your audible range apparatus as well as its broad health. It would probably assist the most if you went to the Doctor during one of the problem episodes. Better to take it taken care of immediately so that if there is a more serious problem you can enjoy it taken care of NOW instead of after that, especially since it bothers you so much.
Good luck!
My thoughts are amplified in my manager at times also. I never had that problem until that time my weight dropped and I be found to have Hyperthyroidism. It didn't start until after my thyroid be radiated and I be put on medication. Now I an Hypo and my weight is approach up. Some years before my bulk dropped though it felt resembling I had a Mac truck setting on my chest and any loud nouns scattered my thoughts.

I of late stop thinking for a spell and the amplification would stop for a long time and it may be days before it happen again. Mine isn't bad.
The same entity happens to me sometimes! Mostly when in that has be a change contained by altitude or when the barometric pressure has shifted. Mostly I assume the weather is to blame.

It's easier if the entity behind the counter is another guy, because at least possible then there's a bit of construal there.

Worst crust scenario, check out the bathrooms at gas stations. Sometimes there's a little condom dispenser on the wall--stick contained by a buck in camp, and a condom pops out. No face-to-face embarassment needed.
If you feel too feeling shame buying condoms, then you shouldn't be have sex then. It is a intuitive thing. You shouldn't be feeling guilty.
Do you know how many times that checker have had populace buy condoms? Quite a few times I would imagine. They'll probably single pass judgement if you look really infantile, as if " you shouldn't be having sex" But if you're an upperclassmen within high university or something, I wouldn't worry something like it. Of course, you can always stir to health clinics and sutff to bring back free ones.
You shouldn't feel weired at adjectives man. You should actually quality like you are doing something angelic by buying condoms, You are preventing pregnancy at a young age and the spread of and std's. Im serious the subsequent time you buy condoms you should feel great in the region of buying them.

I was just this minute informed by a coworker that wearing a backbelt for a prolonged period of time in fact works against you by making your back weaker. ( I construe she said that it was for 4 or more hours.) Is this true?

Answers:
No, because it does not significantly restrict muscular contraction. A "weak" rear legs is kind of a fallicy within terms of preventing a herniated disc. A disc contained by your back can herniate contained by even the strongest of people. This is because the disc is not composed of muscular tissue, as a result, "strengthening" the back does not prevent a disc herniation. Strengthening the spinal column CAN help prevent TEMPORARY muscle soreness that occur when someone "over does it." The back brace, however, have the primary function of giving the wearer a tactile cue to use good posture when doing sturdy lifting.which is BY FAR the most important point to prevent a disc herniation. POSTURE, POSTURE, POSTURE.use good body mechanics when lifting!
Not necessarily weaker but it constricts the blood flow to your organs. the best entry to do is to only strap it up right previously you lift.
