I experienced a immensely strange sensation...?
Yesterday morning I was lying contained by bed, half asleep, next all of a sudden my body feel paralyzed and I thought I was person electrocuted. I had a full body shake and I could not stop myself. All I could do is tolerate out a scream. It did not hurt, but feel as though I was have a "seizure". I am on Effexor XR and I have hear of brain shivers, is this one of those? If your Dr. does not believe you, you may want to consider a second or third evaluation. You DO need to check into this medically. Just because you are on Effexor and this can be a side effect, it does not necessarily plan the drug is the problem. It could be a multiple number of things. Have an MRI if you are concerned about the possibility of tumors, lesion, or other physical problems with the brain. Physiological problems such as chemical imbalance can cause this also.
Go to a Dr., if yours does not listen to you, o to another one until you find one that will. No one know any better than yourself how you feel - the doctor NEEDS this information to properly diagnose you (along near other info).

i had a sore throat second week too. one thing is to avoid cold drinks, bring warm drinks until you restore to health. take heat water and pour saline in it, after mixing it, gurgle the flavoursome water. it other works for me. rub vicks vaporub on your neck every dark also.

Pain after ear wax removal attempt?
Have had a clogged up disappeared ear and loss of hearing due to wax for nearly a week very soon. Went to the doctor today and she tried to get the excess wax out near some kind of long bony metal instrument. She did it first in my right ear (which I didnt hold a problem with because I can hear out of) and boy did it hurt!! In reality I screamed as I wasnt expecting it to hurt. she later decided to use the irrigation method instead within both ears which didnt remove anything! she said that the wax was stuck on the actual ear drum and that I should dance use debrox ear drops for a couple of weeks which will help my ear engage the wax.So now I still cant hear anything out of my moved out ear and my right ear now have a dull pain. What did she do!!??

One of the reason that the doctor irrigated your ear after attempting to remove it with tools is that irrigation softens the wax. What have happened to you is that the wax have melted against your eardrum and it can basis some discomfort and up to a 25dB hearing loss surrounded by that ear. What we do in my clinic surrounded by this case would be transport the patient home near a wax softener such as Debrox or Audiologists Choice, but not for two weeks. Usually after you use this product for a couple of days it will soften the wax to the point that it can flushed out simply within the shower. If it doesn't get better after a couple of days of consistently using your wax softener, later you should make another appt. to enjoy the wax removed with tools, suction, or irrigation. I would not use hydrogen peroxide. Use the wax softener that you be given. Your ear canal is full of thousands of boldness endings, and it can create discomfort to have them cleaned. It is immensely commom in someone who have a complete wax plug for the softened cerumen (wax) to melt down on the eardrum. Sorry that you own to go through this, but it will eventually get hold of better.
