July 10, 2006 -- To help pick up your vision as you age, you may want to confer fish oil the thumbs up and cigarettes the thumbs down.

The Australian researchers included Brian Chua, BSc, MBBS, MPH, of the University of Sydney's ophthalmology department.

Chua and colleagues studied nearly 2,900 people aged 49 and elder (average age: 63-65 years). Participants completed dietary questionnaires; five years following, they got special photographs of their retinas to peak for AMD.

Participants who reported eating at most minuscule one weekly serving of fish were 40% smaller amount likely to develop early-stage AMD during the study, compared near those who reported eating fish smaller number than once a month or not at all.

Study's Limits

The studies don't prove that not smoking or intake fish prevented AMD.

Both studies were purely observational; participant weren't asked to quit smokingquit smoking or change their diets. The studies also don't specify what type of fish participant ate, or how the fish was prepared.

Still, the results held after adjust for other AMD risk factors.

i used to feel approaching that. it got ridiculous. until soon i heard that my sinus infection be most probably brought on by depression. and then i thought: "that's crazy. i am one and only depressed because i feel unwell. in a minute my depression is making me feel unwell?" so i fixed to try to end the cycle. i'm still a bit of an idiot sometimes but collectively doing much better. i just kind sure i get up within the morning no matter how i surface. and i think very soon, put myself in the shoes of someone who have aids or terminal cancer. how annoying would it be for them to think of someone on form who's trying to find something wrong with them. how joyous they would be to be in our positions.

My body aches every morning as all right, I have bought clean (very expensive) mattresses and they did not help. Here is what I enjoy found out...
1. My syatic(sp?) nerve cause the pain through my hips and legs.

2. I hold arthritis in my lower vertebrae and neck, this be caused my playing sports and toting around my children.

I enjoy found what helps me the most is not excersing within a gym, but walking about a 3 miles a afternoon. It took about a week for me to start passion better, but it does ease the backache.

I also changed my posistion when I sleep. sleeping on my back or stomach cause me to hurt more in the morning so I sleep on my side.

The Ibprofren and naproxen assistance if you take them right up to that time bed. The naproxen is the best choice however, it takes a few days to achieve in your system.

There is a drug called Lyrica, that help joint spasm. Ask your doctor about that. IT REALLY WORKS!

Try going to a different doctor. The first doctor I go to see was too stupid to recognise the start of MS and was completely disinterested. A few days next I went to see a second doctor at impossible to tell apart surgery and she packed me sour to the hospital where I stayed for two weeks.
I can empathise beside your situation. The only TRUE way to take your doctors attention is to become a heroin addict, run to the waiting room and verbally misuse the staff etc. It seems to work for every scumbag at my local practice.

Hi - sometimes doctors involve a lot of persuading that something is wrong. Some of it could be down to an underlying depression, it may surprise you. However, fibromyalgia is a possibility, and if you get the impression tired all the time, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome may be a possibility. My best suggestion would be to see a registered homeopath, who will look at the total picture of you and treat you either constitutionally ie. your undamaged general happiness or just for your ache and pains. It certainly worked for my headache and fatigue and made me feel abundantly better in myself. You may own to try a few different remedies but definitely worth a try. Best of luck.
