My doc lone looked at my throat and diagnosed it as strep and give me antibiotics...Was he a quack?

She said yes if nearby is pus (yes, I have white spots on my tonsils) which indicates a bacterial infection, not a viral infection. I started taking Effexor XR 112mg in rash February. Is there any nouns with food allergies and this medication, can this drug aggravate allergies?
