In Ancients days how be general public approaching the Emperor Justinian be in charge of to survive the plague?

How did 2/3 die roughly and some that caught it like Justinian managed to survive and what would the side effects be if you manage to survive it in those days versus these days?

I am posting this contained by both history and medical for I want a medical opinion on the differences today versus in antiquity.

Answers:    I estimate the answer is going to be the same a strong immune system in both cases.
because of our ancestors exposure to it what we nickname the plague is easily curable in our times.
brand new diseases and some that we never found a cure for but just dissapeared as mysteriously as they appeared still have the power to shoot a lot of us .
They are still digging up victims of the spanish flu epidemic trying to get tissue and extract dna to determine what it be exactly and defeat it's return so far no luck..
Being the emperor, he lived in a cleaner enviroment beside fewer rats spreading the plague. Also some people have immunity according to the History Channel.
