If you be below anesthesia whilst have an operation, would you still want to to to the toilet?

Or would your body be the same as being asleep and know not to irinate or poo?

Answers:    Under anesthesia, some of your digestive processes slow down but it is not matching as being asleep... you are artificially unconscious and unnable to get up up until the anasthesia wears off. This is why most associates have their bowels cleared out (either with enemas or they are forced to drink laxatives such as Go-LYTLEY. yuck)... the kidneys, as you would expect, will continually produce urine unless you are in kidney failure or worryingly dehydrated but you can not "wake up" so this is why foley catheters are inserted into the urethras (the internal tubes that pass urine from the bladder and out of the body). Depending on the severity of the operation (for instance, in some major surgeries that are "touch and go" the patients are taken to the ICU after or are kept underneath anasthesia for awhile... even in "less serious" operation, the foley is often left contained by the body until the person is well adequate to move (walk) on their own. If there is a possibility of shock (due to excessive blood loss, kidney problems, et cetera) the foley is useful because the exact chemical composition, saturation and volume of urine can be monitored.

So... to answer your query, no, under anasthesia, your body will "relieve itself" if there is anything to relieve. The colon is usually cleaned out ahead of time to prevent population from soiling themselves and foley catheters are almost always inserted to prevent people from peeing on themselves. You can not stir up if you need to pee so you'll just expire up peeing yourself if there isn't a catheter in..
your body will still function, to be exact why you aren't supposed to eat/drink anything prior to a surgery and it is also why most get a catheter during surgery Under anesthesia, one will not need to toilet..
It's alike as when you sleep in your bed. But on some surgeries that are very extensive, they'll use a catheter.
