I would guess that you are a moment ago more sensitive to the cold than most people. And that your body reacts to the warmth stimulation as if it was a nasal irritant, i.e. sneezing.
Yes, it could just be a intellectual psychological behavior, but I would bet that this is physiological in the manner I described.

my husband has a sun, sneeze trigger (every time he goes outside he sneezes when the sun hits his frontage..we've been married 30 yrs this aug, so I've heard him sneeze a LOT within the sun.)

Could you just hold your feeler when you eat something cold again? it wouldn't be a allergy...
Happens To Alot Of People (I Think) Take Tiny Bites, And Go See Your Local Doctor. there's no way it could be an allergy.
