I imagine you're getting confused with how cyanide tastes. Cyanide TASTES similar to almonds, but almonds do not have cyanide. The smell of almonds in something is a telltale sign of cyanide but no, almonds to not hold it.
Cherry pits and apple seeds have cyanide as far as I know..
