How do you lose belly fat?

Answers:    It is a common misconception that if you just do abdominal work (such as sit ups) that you will start losing belly fat. The truth is that such work loses calories and this comes off from everywhere in your body - therefore overall your body will benefit but it's not just the abs. The main reason to do ab-work is to strengthen stomach muscles.

The real way to lose belly fat is to eat healthily and excercise because not only will your belly benefit but your hole body. If your real problem area is you stomach then that might be the first to go!

I suggest for a diet

Breakfast: Fruit/yoghurt/egg-white omlettes

Snack: Fruit (don't go for those high-cal muesli bars that claim to be good for you) or if you want a treat then you can get a very small blueberry muffin

Lunch: Grilled Chicken Sandwich with tomato, lettuce, cheese, cucumber whatever veges you want but no mayonaisse!

Dinner: Something such as lean meat like well cut steak or grilled chicken and then fish is also excellant. add a nice garden salad. Check portion sizes as well!

EXCERCISE:

I'd say about 3 times a week minimum, one hour each time you work out. You can go for a run, join a gym, start taking fitness classes and fitness first for example which are each an hour long and burn 600-800 calories or do something like kakyaking or bike riding. At the end of each hour spend 15 minutes on your abdominals.

I suggest

30 crunches
30 situps
2x 30sec static holds (hold your body in the sit-up position for that long. it killls!)
2x 30 secs of bicycles (bring your arm up to its opposite knee and then alternate whilst in the sit-up position)

repeat x3

good luck!.
there are alot of ways to lose belly fat.

First off, DIET!. try to elimiate about 400 calories from what you normally eat, and this will help.

Drink a cup of iced or hot green tea. The tea has antioxidants, and the caffiene helps speed up metabolism.

Eat smaller, but more frequent meals, it'll help you keep your metabolism up.

Include cardio workout about two-three times a week. This will help burn fat.

Add stregnth training in about twice a week, and this will help tone your stomach.
There really is no easy answer for this. Many people believe that hundreds of crunches and ab exercises will do the trick, but that is a myth. There is no such thing as spot reducing exercises. So you will have to exercise entirely, I suggest an intense cardio plan with weight training intermixed. Check out the "body for life" diet plan and exercise regimen for starters.
Mainly you want to keep your metabolic rate revved up throughout the day. The higher your metabolism the easier it will be to drop the pounds around your mid-section.
Lastly, stay away from gimmicks and "wonder-pills" to lose weight. As you probably know there is no quick and easy way. Best of luck..
uh workout
