How do I give support to an upset stomach cause by antibiotics?
Answers: I find that if I eat yogurt when I am having to help yourself to antibiotics , it really help ALOT. I really hate that horrible gas and discouraging breath, that stomach rumble, and all those other side effects that come from antibiotics,. I know where you're coming from. Its embarassing to even ADMIT to some of them!! But yeah, yogurt really does come across to help keep the intestinal microbes more in check and at a natural symmetry. Give it a try, can't hurt!! ( unless the meds specifically say to avoid dairy!! Read the labels and discuss to the pharmacists before you do this... ).
I just have the same issue, (not a bite) but had to clutch antibiotics for an infection just the same. First sort sure its not an allergic reaction to the medication.
If you are sure its not an allergic reaction later try a drug called culturell or lactobacillus...its the same principal as intake yogurt but a little better. you can buy it over the counter.
If you are still having issues you may want to carry your doctor to prescribe protonix, its a stomach medication. you can also buy prilosec OTC which stands for over the counter. I like protonix better..
there is a unusual tablet called after-biotics they help the body acquire back all the well-mannered bacteria that the anti-biotic takes out!!you can seize them in a chemist no need to stir to the doctor, for your mouth get some natural yogurat(bad spelling sorry) and rub it into your mouth taking anti-biotics sometimes give you thrush... good luck Yogurt is good, but also is drinking lots of marine and avoiding sugary foods.
