Effects of smoking.?

I smoked cigarettes and other things for about 4 years ( i know im a POS whatever) well i only just quit all of it. I'm young and i never thought i would quality the effects! i should have listened to everyone relating me how im going to regret it! but, i feel almost asthmatic sometimes. i know i do not have asthma though...i only just went running and i feel similar to a tickling sensation in my lungs and i feel close to i can't take deep adequate breaths. i don't feel like my lungs are closing up or anything approaching that. i was just wondering...will this travel away? it's only been possibly a month or two since ive stopped smoking...i smoke a cigarette now and then. I know if i want to stop i really inevitability to STOP it all. but is there any piece that i can do to get my lungs back to average? i know stop smoking but anything else? and how long will it take?

Answers:    Honestly, it will probably take 1-4 years for you to discern better, and free. You need to totally stop smoking. Everytime you smoke ONE cigarette, you are damaging your lungs THAT MUCH MORE.

Check the sources for the effects of smoking- that page is comparatively informative. Good luck, =).
well you need to quit 100% enjoy you started coughing up black tar yet? cuz you will. your lungs are restoring itself... but dont work to tricky on them just yet. might do you damage.

try a steamy shower every day and take vast breaths..
You have to stop smoking completely and let your body totally restore your health from the damage that smoking caused. you inevitability to stop smoking.you need you lungs to recover.try to transport things easy.take a hot shower..
Why don't you start drinking milk every morning? Just a cup or two... You will feel much better. sounds like asthma to me. better seize it checked out..
Your symptoms might not be your lungs. What you describe with the tickling and the not being competent to take a deep breath is a type of heartburn (seriously). There is a boldness in your lower esophagus that gets overstimulated by rather reflux. You don't need enough reflux to surface heartburn for this to happen. The sensation is the feeling close to you need to cough, and this tight chest/can't take a vast enough breath sensation. Get some Tums and take them for a few days to a week and see if these symptoms shift way. (They will!)

Meanwhile, keep working on the quitting smoking and hang on to running!
