Does the THC in marijuana permanently bind to the nerve receptors? What lasting negative effects does pot have?
Answers: If you look at any reputable studies, the consensus is that long term heavy use is often accompanied by a decrease in short term memory. I'm sure people will reply going into great detail about the evils of the pot, but do some reading and make up your own mind. Responsible use, no problem. Light up!!
Edit: Also to answer your first question, no, THC does not bind permanently to receptor sites..
heavy long term use can affect you, but there's really not alot of harm in occasional use, that's just my belief. pot is a natural herb. now i'm not a pothead and i don't like to smoke it, and i certainly don't encourage it, but it's less harmful than cigarettes or alcohol The same THC is also in chocolate, believe it or not. However, I have been able to lose my chocolate addiction with no noticeable side effects.

Have you ever met any old pot heads? I have, and they do not act as if they have any sense.
