Could this be the effect of the alcohol?

Lately, I've been getting bad headache. And I've been thinking this might be because of the alcohol I've been drinking. In the recent past week I've had 10 standard sized drinks. Is this enough to dehydrate me and exact headaches? (Correct me if I'm wrong on this) I've also been opinion depressed.
These things have been stirring the past few days.

Is this the effect of the alcohol or just a bleak conscience?

Answers:    probably the alcohol, alot of people get headache, and i know i get dehydrated the year after i drink.
Could be either...only track to know is to stop drinking alcohol for the next week or two and see if you improve.

Also, drink lots of hose down throughout the day to re-hydrate. And if you do drink alcohol, make sure you drink 1 or 2 glasses/bottles of river before going to bed (depending on how much alcohol you had).

You are also probably sleep-deprived, since you don't get a insightful sleep with alcohol in the system, so that's probably where on earth the depressed feelings are coming from..
alcohol is a depressant. it has a "euphoria curve", that process that it makes you feel virtuous before it makes you have a feeling down. yes, it could be giving you headaches. it also could be what ur drinking. the other ingredients in the booze could wreak headaches, like the red coloring within red wine gives my gf migraines. i duno wot u mean by 10 standard drink(a night) but minus a doubt the headaches is teh dehydration and the depression is BIG TIME alcohol

if u feel well brought-up wen you drink its gna feel THAT BAD wen you stop for a couple of days after, the better you feel contained by the night the worse you feel surrounded by the morning take it from me.
Well, drinking alcohol does make you parched. So just drink water..lots of sea..besides that you should always drink lots of water (it flushes your body). Alcohol can form you feel depressed too. Take a week off and see if your headache and mood change. If not, than it probably is not the alcohol.

I would recommend that if you feel this for much more longer. Maybe confide in a right friend or get help?...
Likely both, but mostly the alcohol. You're probably feeling thirst, not to mention that alcohol is a mild depressive. Pop some vitamin C tablets, get more sleep and drink more water. Also, lay past its sell-by date the drinks. You shouldn't be drinking that much. it depends on how OLD you are. If your under-age then yes..but if you are OVER 21, then perchance its just because its because you just started..? but i odnt no. And sensation depressed also causes drinking. Don't drink if you feel depressed, because it freshly leads to more or overdose and/or drunk driving.

it isn't the alcahol but if you are having headache drinking alcahol won't help. it won't help depression any.i rarely drink any of it because it makes me have a feeling bad. it's poisen really. do something healthy to consistency better and stay away from crap. honey when you want to get advice from race it's usually a good idea to state how antiquated you are. Are you 13 years old?? well *, that might be a problem later! Are you 25?? Hmm maybe it's something else.. Come on people stop man dumb..
Stop drinking. If in a few days you feel better, that's righteous. However, if you feel a craving for more, this means you're an alcoholic and you necessitate help. Moderation is the key to staying vigorous. combination of both

physically its alcohol

mentally you must remember alcohol is a depressant. the more you drink to take away depression the more you get depressed...thats how it starts.

Alcohol always made me feel desperate, so I don't drink but one and only one Bailey's and coffee at Christmas time. DEFINITELY!.

have you been getting laid?sounds close to a lack of sex.. It is possible that you are allergic to something in the alcohol. Many populace (my wife included) have very bleak reactions to the sulfites in wine and other beverages that impose her to have headaches, stuffy muzzle, and flushed skin.

10 drinks in a week is not much, unless you had them adjectives on one or two days.

This is from the Mayo Clinic Website:

Some people are more sensitive to the effects of alcohol than are others. However, this doesn't mean you enjoy an alcohol allergy.

A true food allergy involves your immune system. In such cases, your immune system mistakenly identifies a specific food or a component of that food as a harmful substance. Your immune system triggers infallible cells to produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies to fight the "enemy" food or food component. Signs and symptoms of food allergy include tingling within the mouth, hives, breathing difficulties, and swelling of your lips, tongue or throat.

An alcohol allergy would be very extraordinary. However, you could be allergic to other ingredients in an alcoholic beverage, such as wheat or sulfur dioxide, a preservative. There are also substances in some alcohol beverages such as wine that can basis flushing or even rashes.

Still, it's more likely that you own an alcohol intolerance — which means you are more sensitive to the normal effects of alcohol. Alcohol can wreak a variety of immediate adverse effects on the body, including headache, speedy heartbeat, nausea or vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, nasal congestion, or warm, red, itchy skin.

Many folks of Asian descent experience an unusual flushing reaction after drinking alcohol — even in outstandingly small amounts. This is caused by a genetic disorder in which the body is not sufficiently expert to break down alcohol completely. Some research suggests that people who experience alcohol flush reaction may be at increased risk of alcohol-related conditions, such as cancer of the esophagus and liver disease.

Rarely, severe pain following alcohol ingestion may be a sign of a more serious underlying disorder, such as Hodgkin's disease — also agreed as Hodgkin's lymphoma. If you experience unusual symptoms after ingesting alcohol, consult your doctor.

As for the 'depression', that is a term explicitly widely misused.

Feeling down for a day or so, or even a few days, isn't clinical depression. It is when the symptoms last more than two weeks, and usually interfere beside your life or quality of time - suicidal thoughts, sadness, crying, etc all are symptoms.
