Can coat dye draw from rid of and kill in cold blood principal lice?
Answers: No. You need treatment for head lice. Lindane shampoo (Kwell shampoo) will eliminate them. You'll also need to comb out any nits (lice eggs) which cling to your hair after the full-size lice are killed. If you're a guy, this may a good time to consider a buzz cut AFTER you do the treatment. You will probably involve a prescription to purchase kwell, but you may find a sympathetic pharmacist.
Edit: There are also effective over the counter treatments for head lice, but it take a couple of treatments to be properly effective. Especially if you have a desperate infestation. Be sure to follow the instructions precisely, and use the little comb that comes supplied with the product to remove the nits from your individual hair shafts..
Honestly, I've be looking for the answer to this question, too... but... from everything that I've seen, here's some info for you.
1. Lindane is POISONOUS. Don't use it. Look it up formerly you even think about it.
2. Lice cannot survive short a HUMAN scalp for more than 24 hours. That means: No need to shampoo your hearth rug, your dog, ect. Wash your bedlinens in hot water. Good plenty.
3. Unless you kill ALL of the nits, you WILL get lice again. Not sure if dye kill nits. (Nits are eggs)
4. Lice prefer CLEAN hair. Shampoo rinses away the natural oil in your hair, making it easier for lice to hold onto the fleece shafts.
Good luck!.
