Hi, lately I have had some eye problems. It started several weeks ago when both of my eyes become very red and scaly. Both on my eyelid and underneath my eye. I bought some eye cream and that help a little, but they still look about like peas in a pod. Now, they have a very red and bruised appearence underneath my eye. Looks similar to very severe bags underneath my eyes or something. They are misty colored and red and look awful. Ive also noticed my eyes are much more sensitive and become irritated very glibly. I have no insurance right now and enjoy no idea what this could be!? Anyone had this or similar issues?

Answers:    It sounds to me similar to you're having seasonal allergies. Try some over the counter antihistimines (like Clariton) and see if your eyes improve..

If your SKIN is scaly that sounds like an infection of the skin, close to herpes infection of the eye or something. I'm not trying to scare you, I've never had this problem, but it doesn't nouns like allergies to me. I get allergy-eye, and that's itching, watering, flush of the eyeball. But I never have had those skin symptoms you described. And are you sure the eye cream you bought didn't brand name it worse?

Please try to find a hospital in your area that treats those with no insurance. And by all routine, keep your hands verbs and away from your face..
