I've had one bad one before and they had to cauterise the inside (basically: burn the vessels closed!)

Do not take anything like motrin or anything if it hurts, because many pain relievers thin the blood and will make it harder to clot, if it doesnt stop for like 15 mins or so, go to the doctor and let the blood flow, do not tilt your head up to stop anything beause it wont help anything, and itll stuff up your nose. When tilting your head back, ice, and cotton balls aren't working..
when your towels are always bloody. When it doesn't clot after 10 minutes.
