Got my blood results back today. My wbc is back to everyday at 8.5 but my mpv and mchc is slightly elevated. The doctor asked about my alcohol consumption which is nil. I said i was worried nearly cancer and leukemia and the doctor replied that my wbc is fine and they would look more at a vitimin problem. Any ideas please. My diet is quiet well brought-up veg/red meats, and dairy products. just worried what could be cause the elevated mpv and mchc levels. Doctor said my platelet levels be slightly raised.

Now he wants to do additonal test what could they be for?
