Why do human farts clear echo, and animal farts, such as dog farts, don't?

Not that I progress around listening to my pets bodily noise, but they can sound a bit big for a little animal, and the smell is equally gross.
The first time I hear our dog break wind I blamed my husband, (like you I believed they did not fashion a sound) it was simply when he soundly denied that it was not him but the dog, and next the smell hit us that I believed him. We both still giggle in the order of the day the dog dropped a clanger, and have us gasping for fresh air.
My one my cats consent to our a squeak one day, and just a minute later the malodorous smell hit. Needless to right to be heard our daughter and I was incredulous.
dude. animals can generate some noisy ones. :)
