Answers:    Body temperature in general fluctuates over the day, near the lowest levels at 4 a.m. and the great at 6 p.m. Therefore, an oral temperature of 37.5°C (99.5°F) would strictly be a restlessness in the morning, but not contained by the afternoon. Normal body temperature may differ as much as 0.4°C (0.7°F) between individuals or from time to day. In women, warmth differs at various points within the menstrual cycle, and this can be used for family planning (although it is just one of the variables of temperature). Temperature is increased after meals, and psychological factor (like the first day contained by the hospital) also influence body temperature.

The excerpt above is from the second source below...
Also, it could be from dehydration...not satisfactory fluids/water consumed. That could also explain the headaches...also, enjoy you had a tick or spider bite? See the first source below also see the information contained by the excerpt below:

Symptoms and Signs

Because the tick feeds transiently and painlessly at dark, most patients do not give a history of tick bite but may report an overnight exposure to cave or rustic dwellings. When present, louse infestation is usually obvious.

The incubation term ranges from 3 to 11 days (median, 6 days). Sudden chills mark the kick-off, followed by high frenzy, tachycardia, severe headache, vomiting, muscle and joint headache, and often delirium. An erythematous macular or purpuric imprudent may appear early over the trunk and extremities. Conjunctival, subcutaneous, or submucous hemorrhages may be present. Fever remains high-ranking for 3 to 5 days, then clears all of a sudden, indicating a turning point in the disease. The duration of virus ranges from 1 to 54 days (median, 18 days). Later in the several weeks' course of the disease, jaundice, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, myocarditis, and heart ruin may occur, especially contained by louse-borne disease. Other symptoms may include ophthalmitis, iridocyclitis, exacerbation of asthma, and erythema multiforme. Meningismus is rare. Spontaneous abortion can take place.

The patient is usually asymptomatic for several days to ≥ 1 wk between the initial episode and the 1st relapse. Relapses, related to the cyclic nouns of the parasites, materialize with a sudden return of disorientation and, often, arthralgia and adjectives the former symptoms and signs. Jaundice is more common during relapse. The infection clears as before, but 2 to 10 similar episodes may follow at intervals of 1 to 2 wk. The episodes become progressively smaller number severe, and recovery eventually occur as the patient develops imperviousness.

Diagnosis

The diagnosis is suggested by the recurrent confusion and confirmed by visualization of spirochetes in the blood during a febrile episode. The spirochetes may be see on darkfield examination or Wright's- or Giemsa-stained gooey and thin blood smears. (Acridine red stain for examining blood or tissue is more sensitive than Wright's or Giemsa stain for peripheral blood smears.) Serologic test are unreliable. Mild polymorphonuclear leukocytosis may occur.

Differential diagnosis includes Lyme arthritis, malaria, dengue, sickly fever, leptospirosis, typhus, influenza, and the enteric fever.

Treatment

In fever transmitted by ticks, tetracyclineSome Trade Names
ACHROMYCIN V
TETRACYN
TETREX
Drug Information
or erythromycin 500 mg po q 6 h is given for 5 to 10 days. A single 500-mg oral dose of any drug cures louse-transmitted fever. DoxycyclineSome Trade Names
PERIOSTAT
VIBRAMYCIN
Drug Information
100 mg po bid for 5 to 10 days is also effectual. Children < 8 yr are given erythromycin estolate 10 mg/kg po tid. When vomiting or severe disease precludes oral administration, tetracyclineSome Trade Names
ACHROMYCIN V
TETRACYN
TETREX
Drug Information
10 mg/kg contained by 100 or 500 mL of saline may be given IV bid or tid to children > 8 yr. Children < 8 yr are given penicillin GSome Trade Names
BICILLIN
DURACILLIN
Drug Information
25,000 units/kg IV q 6 h.

Therapy should be started early during confusion or during the afebrile stage but should be avoided near the finish off of the episode because of the danger of Jarisch-Herxheimer spontaneous effect (see Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD): Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction (JHR)), which can be incurable. The severity of the Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction may be lessened by giving acetaminophen 650 mg po 2 h until that time and 2 h after the 1st dose of doxycyclineSome Trade Names
PERIOSTAT
VIBRAMYCIN
Drug Information
or erythromycin.

Dehydration and electrolyte imbalance should be corrected near parenteral fluids. Acetaminophen with oxycodoneSome Trade Names
OXYCONTIN
OXYIR
Drug Information
or hydrocodone may be used for severe headache. Nausea and vomiting should be treated near prochlorperazineSome Trade Names
COMPAZINE
