Answers: Have your parents take you when they do draw from home. Don't scratch it doesn`t matter what you do, because of that nasty investigational strain of staph going around! Just put some antibiotic cream on it or wash it out next to alcohol or peroxide and put a bandaid on it.

If I were home alone and have a bite, I would call and ask to speak near a nurse at the nearest hospital. They often whip telephone call from people who do not know what is wrong next to them. They have years of training and experience. Ask to speak beside a Registered Nurse in the pediatrics (children's) department/wing.
You may know how to help stop the itching by putting some baking soda on it. It help to wet it rather (make a paste of baking soda and some water). Apply it to the spot...it crumbles and that's alright. It help to draw the venom from the bite. You obligation to remember to tell your parent/s in the region of it when they get rear legs home, too.
The baking soda is the Yellow Box with the Arm and Hammer on it and it is usually stored surrounded by the kitchen or laundry room.
Do call the nurse, though. You will be glad you did.
