Is it ok to leave my computer "ON" for days on finale?just close to I keep my refrigerator on for months on wrapping up??

Answers:    i was told once that it is harder on your computer to turn it bad and on a lot, that you should newly let it sleep. something in the order of the fan cooling it. the disciple cannot run to cool the system when its shut down and the pc is still melt. I know that we were told to confer on our laptops on and just close the lid within the evening before going home at work. not sure why
