Telling a Psychologist/ Psychologist personal information.?
I am going to start seeing a psychologist or a psychiatrist (not sure yet) and I am unsure about whether or not I should speak about them about my drinking disorder. I am legal so it's not close to they have to enlighten my parents. But what are the circumstances regarding forgiving confidentiality? How serious does it have to be for them to communicate another person just about it? Thanks.
Answers: if that's not the problem of the problem you wanting to get situation consequently you don't need to mention the consumption disorder.
however the eating disorder may be the raison d`¨ētre of the intial problem you're going to see them about.
They individual tell another being if they have source to believe you will kill yourself or if you're abuse a child. It is confidential otherwise. That is something important to notify them, too.
