Hospital job for EMTs?

I am EMT Certified. How much does an EMT make an hour working within a hospital in New York City? Remember one and only the hourly wage at a hospital. The location is New York, New York. What is the hourly wage? Please be specific!

Answers:    if you work in a hospital as an ER Tech you can engineer up to $21.00 an hour and as a paramedic you can make up to $25.00 an hour. It also depends on experience. You should check for your local volunteer ambulance corps Emergency Medicine is a great trade. I'm a Pre-Med Student, so i know that i need medical work for my application. In private orginizations, EMTs put together $12.00-15.00 an hour and government make at least 14 an hour, but i know for sure that hospitals salary the most................

EMT's work in a pre-hospital setting for roughly speaking $15/ hour in New York. If you work surrounded by a hospital, you will not be an EMT. You will be a medical assistant, nurse, or something else.
