Howcome when you blow out with your jaws pursed, your breath feels cooler than if you blow out next to your mouth in an "o" shape?

Answers:    Pursing your lips both compresses the upper air and makes it flow faster, both of which are cooling movements. Blowing out of an open mouth (O shape) the upper air flows directly from the lungs with no compression and especially little speed as compared to the pursed lips. Very little cooling happen then.
