How various blood types are within animals? How are they different from human blood types?
Answers: There are different blood types contained by different animals, eg colourless in insects, red contained by mammals, etc. The main differences are surrounded by the composition, particularly the oxygen carrying pigment.
In mammals, obviously, there is iron-containing red haemoglobin, while within some animals there is a blue, copper-containing pigment for carrying oxygen.
In insects, at hand is no pigment (therefore colourless blood), and oxygen is carried in solution.
Hope this help.
