Needle Phobic. Having a Blood Test. Plz assistance?
Once a hypodermic broke in my Vein,so enjoy been unnerved of needles ever since.
Can i have Valium to in control me ?
Scared i'll faint. Can i hold Numbing Cream ?
Answers: You can ask your doctor if you can have something to unflappable you. The numbing medicine really doesn't break into that deeply, so would essentially be useless.
Explain your fears to whomever is doing the blood test and ask them to put in the picture you what they're doing every step of the way so that you can prepare yourself. Don't survey either. I'm an EMT and I'm fine next to other people's blood, just not my own.
I used to can`t bear needles as well when I be younger. Now I'm older, I'm joyful to do just a simple blood trial compared to what they could be doing to me :) You'll get to that stage too!
