Answers: Hi, within. The pain above your hip is probably due to the strain and impact that's put on the muscles when we cough. Most of us tight up the muscles in our subsidise, chest and abdomen when we cough. Some those even tense up their leg muscles. I suspect that the force of your coughing is possibly stretching your hip & backbone muscles a bit and causing the niggle. Try taking a hot (not too hot) bath at hours of darkness with 1 cup Epsom salt and 1 cup apple cider vinegar. This combination will help soothe and loosen the muscles and will also aid rid your body of some of the toxins that are causing the cough. Have you see a doctor for the cough? I recommend doing that right away, and mentioning the hip pain to him/her while you're contained by the office. I don't meditate the pain you're experiencing is serious, but a frequent cough should other be checked out by a doctor. Good luck!!
I don't think that it's typical. when i cough nothing hurts. I would check that out or at tiniest give your doctor a give the name.

If it hurts by your hip it is probably just a cold, you probably enjoy sore hip sells or infected hip sell, when you cough your sinuses hurt and that triggers your hip sells which engineer them hurt. In other words, It is completely normal for your hip to hurt.
I am doctor so it may also be a small infection but nought to serious.
