What are some things that aggravate IBS?

Answers:    Being nervous, intake hot, spicy or gas-causing food like broccoli, cabbage, onions, garlic, too much fiber (as within too much salad) or things like too much milk or cheese can basis a gassy, uncomfortable fancy. You may also get ill. Go easy on fried food, dairy and spicy stuff until you cram what your system can handle.
I enjoy IBS and it is no picnic. Different people act in response differently to the various foods and beverages we consume. The problem is, it isn't a single food that cause Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms. It's ANY food that is lofty in obese, insoluble fiber, caffeine, coffee (even decaf), carbonation, or alcohol. Why? Because all of these food category are either GI stimulants or irritants, and can result in violent reaction of your gastrocolic reflex. This directly affects the muscles in your colon and can head to pain, constipation AND diarrhea, gas, and bloating.

Foods and drinks that may impose or worsen symptoms include

fatty foods, like french fries
milk products, close to cheese or ice cream
chocolate
alcohol
caffeinated drinks, approaching coffee and some sodas
carbonated drinks, like soda

You may want to maintain a food diary to see what foods you cannot tolerate. However, I find that sometimes I am able to guzzle or drink a certain food beside no problem, and then at a different time it give me pain and diarrhea. Just another one of nature's little gifts.
