I have be on Prilosec for seven days now for Reflux and WOW, I am soooooo depressed, really impossible depressed i have never feel this way surrounded by my life, i touch like i am adjectives alone, and can literally cry for no reason. I am thankful with my time and everything is going good and i am not /don't want to be depressed. Also i enjoy like extreme Anxiety and extreme nouns tension adjectives of the time it is horrible. I feeling tired adjectives of the time and totally out of it. I am stopping Prilosec tomorrow! has anyone else have any bad side effects approaching this?? from what i read here it is all positive experiences near the drug.

Answers:    Dude, I have be on Prilosec for 5 days and I have the exact same symptoms -- lots of stiffness in collar muscles, dizziness, anxiety -- since I started. I am stopping tomorrow and am told that it takes 72 hours for the drug to work its path completely out of your system.

It's definitely not one of the side effects on the insert. That's too weird and wonderful that these symptoms appeared when you started the prilosec? Makes you wonder?? Every ones body reacts different to different meds though and perchance you just simply cannot run this and tolerate it. Are you taking any other prescribed medicine?? Prilosec can interfere near a list of meds. If so double check it near your Dr. or Pharmacist. Good luck!
