For those who used to be smokers...?

I really want to stop smoking after been a smoker for 10 years. I know I am pale, I have tried the patch, the gum, but I other start again. I also live in New York and hold a very stressful livelihood. Besides here a pack of cigarettes cost me $6.80.

What have worked for you?
Any tips?
How did you stop?

Answers:    It takes an average of 7 attempts.

I used the patch and it worked wonders for me.

I'm going to go beyond along a site to you. Add it to your favorites and look at it for a 1/2 hour every day. I logged into it constantly when I quit and it help a lot.

It give you 24/7 support, advice, tips, etc (its free too which is great).

Drink lots of hose down when you quit. I carried a water bottle around for the mitt to mouth bit, also helps you detox. Remember too that a nicotine craving just lasts 2 minutes tops. You can totally acquire through that!

There's a new drug out within called Chantix i.e. supposed to really help quit.
