Answers: RayeKaye answered the "how much does my bladder hold" query, but not the "how much weight am I loosing" put somebody through the mill.
For that part, as the weak saying go, "a pint's a pound the world around" (unless you're in the UK, that pint is 1/2 cup bigger than the US pint, but I digress). There are roughly 240 milliliters (cc's) within a cup, or 480 mL in a pint. So, you lose roughly one pound if you pee when you're bladder have 500 mL in it, which is when most folks feel they "really gotta run now" and then "pee forever". As far as substance loss goes, it's hugely insignificant considering how much sea you're supposed to take surrounded by daily (eight 8 oz eyeglasses of water weigh approximately 4 pounds).
Average max capacity of a human bladder is 1000 mL - one liter. If you hold normal bravery sensitivity, holding that amount of urine would be extremely uncomfortable, probably tight.
Most people have a feeling the need to urinate somewhere around 200-300 cc (mL), but can hold it if for longer. Usually you really want to step by the time your bladder is holding 500-600 cc.
If you have a urethral stricture or some other problem that reduce the flow, then it could bear a long time to empty your bladder, even if it isn't full.
